CAVA — Restaurant in Greenville

First time trying. I heard about this place from my daughter. Decided to try it out. You can see from the pictures my order. Missing extra steak and splendid greens. Called the Augusta Rd store to let them know what was missing. The background noise was very loud. I told the guy who answered the phone my name he acts like he doesn't understand stand. He ask teammates did yall fix an order for a Allen i dont know what they are saying i can't understand the name and proceeds to laugh. A female says Allen, Allen who nobody knows that name. He gets back on the phone and says no one knows and Allen. I state it's Holland, Teri and spelled it out. He raises his voice and says OK NO REASON TO GET LOUD. I said I'm spelling my name because you act like you can't hear me and you all are very rude. I ask for manager he says I am the manager. He says you can come tomorrow and get a replacement. I said who will be the manager tomorrow he says him. I said well how will you know it's me if you can't hear my name but you heard everything else I said. I ask for his name. He says he doesn't feel comfortable giving his name. I said so how am I supposed to come tomorrow and get a refund or replacement. He says I'll be here. I disconnected the call because for one you and the crew are laughing like those is funny. Two because he thinks it's ok to be rude with customers and then play in their face. I will definitely not eat ate any of them ever again. I know some will say they don't care if I eat there or not. I know they don't care however anywhere I spend money at I expect to at least have great customer service and food. I didn't want a refund I called to simply let them know the mistake. Definitely need to find owners info because the KIDS you have working there will bring business down with the type of non caring...

First I would like to say, I only eat here when I’m craving a good healthy bowl! I’ve had issues in 2024 but they were fixed so I let it the past be the past! Today I go in order my bowl I asked for half & half of both rices, lentils, spinach and arugula to start then I love the corn, tomatoes and onions, cucumbers, and the pico degalia topping it off with feta cheese! I also ordered an extra whole pita bread! I get home to find there was no brown rice only a little of the white rice which had lumps in it like lumpy grits ,no arugula or lentils! I tried to call several times but no answer ! So I had to clock out leave my job again to take the bowl back only to get there and the manager wants to debate about what I ordered and asked for in front of other customers and his employees! Then only refunded me for the bowl not my bowl and the extra pita bread so he says oh you brought the pita bread back, um yeah why would I want the pita bread without my salad? Then to say oh I’ve replaced your bowl before excuse me that was 2024 it’s 2025 and you wouldn’t have had to replace anything if you and your employees listen to your customer me and give me what I asked for!! You keep saying it’s more and I continue to tell I don’t care about the extra cost being I don’t eat meat! Regardless your rude and very disrespectful you don’t ever argue back and forth with the customer and you could have at least apologized! The you have your cashier taking money and then not washing her hands before putting on gloves to toast the pita bread is definitely a sanitation violation and nasty!!! I will definitely find a different Cava that cares and make sure they give the customer what ask for with a friendly smile...

I first tried the Haywood Rd location & everything from the staff to the food was amazing. Yesterday afternoon, I went to this location on Augusta & when I walked up to the counter I considered leaving but I hadn't eaten all day. The food appeared to have been sitting for hours & nothing appeared fresh. The staff also seemed as if they could care less. They were talking amongst themselves & after paying they disappeared. I had to yell at them in the back to get their attention. I started to feel stomach discomfort right after eating there. A few hours later, I began vomiting & having the worst diarrhea. I'm still very sick 24hrs later & since it was the only thing I ate yesterday I'm pretty sure the unfresh food is the cause. I widg I had saved some to give to a doctor/lab because I know the food is the culprit. Skip this location & go to haywood. They don't mind you asking questions, they keep the food fresh & it tastes way better than what I had...
