Chick Mac — Restaurant in Greenville

I work close by to this location, so I’ve been here twice. The first time was when they had recently opened and the most recent time was after they made some changes to their menu. I think that their prices are very reasonable for the quality and portion. Both times, I got boneless wings because I work in an office and didn’t want to deal with any mess. The first time, I got garlic parmesan with fries and ranch. The second time, I did half mild buffalo and half honey bbq with a side of mac and cheese. Both times I ordered to-go and was treated with a lot of respect. Both times it took about 15 minutes from placing my order to get my food. My most recent time was very pleasant, Aleah rang me up and gave me updates on my order. She also asked me if I wanted certain things in my bag like salt and pepper or extra ranch, which I appreciated as someone who is too nervous to ask! She also checked in on the others who were in there. The food is really good. The wings are large and flavorful, and are clearly made to order. The mac and cheese was interesting, and it was a little bland to me. I added some black pepper which helped with the flavor. The sauces I tried were excellent and paired well with the ranch. My only feedback is I’d love to see some in-house ranch- I love the type of “restaurant ranch” that is thick and flavorful. The ones that they currently use are a little thin and bland. I have now tried Chick Mac twice and they’ve only been open a few days 😂 both times it was worth it. The prices are great, I paid under 11 for the sandwich meal and around 16 for the 10 piece wingette meal. Honestly my new go-to lunch spot especially as the fries are great even if I’ve gotten busy with work and they cooled a little. Great flavors and they offer options to cook longer or less. Ordering directly through their website was easy too and when I went and picked it up they were super friendly and informative!! I was nervous about getting yet another quick- chicken place but I’m glad they are here. I hope they can expand their menu as business grows. We tried their traditional chicken wings 10 piece, I had 5 Honey BBQ and 5 Lemon Pepper rub, on the second order we had 5 parm and 5 buffalo sauce. Honey BBQ was tasty and so was lemon pepper run but had little seasoning to it. Buffalo sauce was mild and delicious and the parm flavor was my frist time trying, its good. The only complain is when you enter you can smell sevege problems which stinks up the whole place and is even worse in the bathroom, which is pretty common for older buildings in downtow.
