China Max — Restaurant in Greenville

I very rarely eat here anymore because of the sanitation grade and attitudes of the staff. But I decided to give them another chance and this was the last one. I got honey chicken with white rice and white sauce; that is the only reason why I got white rice. About halfway through my meal, I noticed something black in one of the rice kernels, so I thought maybe it was burnt. I didn't eat it regardless. Then I got a closer look and noticed that there was a gnat or some type of bug cooked INSIDE of it. Needless to say, I was full. I really hoped that I hadn't eaten bugs in other pieces, but I probably did. I'm just glad I didn't get sick. I tried to find where I can report them to the health inspector online because honestly that can make people sick even though they just got inspected. They don't care and this place needs to be shut down in my opinion. That was the last time they will ever take...

UPDATE: We live in a fickle world and I am no different when there are so many FOOD options to choose from. Sadly, this once great bastion of Chinese food steam table deliciousness (see my full review) has fallen to the 'I'm going to change my recipes and see if no one notices to save a buck mentality'. What once was Maximum taste, has become Maximum disappointment. Farewell, we had a good run!!!

I had some small waffle bites that I bought from the middle of the mall for my 3 year old son, me and my family sat down in the food court area. My son was eating his waffle bites but eventually drop his fork by mistake, I ask an older Asian woman that was working behind the counter for a plastic fork and she denied me a fork, she was just staring at the waffle in my hand, my instincts kick in and was telling me she basically denied me the fork because I didn’t buy from her restaurant, this is my favorite go to restaurant in the mall but after this incident I would never buy from them again, I got racist vibes and I am a Black Man, just enjoying time with his family in the mall, I didn’t ask for that negativity vibe, I pray for her that God will heal her heart one day.
