I started buying my jewelry from JCPenny because of the lifetime protection plans offered. Explained to me by the sales woman, LIFETIME repairs and replacement. Never said anything about the repair center making the decision to not repair your jewelry add to the repair slips there NEW policy that's not brought to our attention!! That at there discretion to keep our jewelry and pay us back a portion of the cost of our jewelry and no return at all on protection plans paid for. They kept my bridal rings they got a lawyer to talk around the policy and I'm now paying bills to JCPENNY for jewelry I don't have. This is not just my bridal ring set they're also collecting on a 3 ring set necklace they have ALL my jewelry and the money I've paid for protection plans. I lost my lawsuit against them I can't afford a lawyer. I suggest you not buy jewelry there if your looking to keep this jewelry forever, they all the sudden decide to keep it all I never got any offers they claimed they showed me? I never got them never got the phone calls. The lawyer also made sure to attempt to make me look petty says I caused a seen! UMMM.... no that was nothing I held bake! Brought up how my Registered service dog was a problem in there store the lawyer was a real little person all together I hope JCPenny enjoyed ripping off a single struggle mom who was trying to have her jewelry fixed up and shiny to go to get my daughter and they kept my jewelry, because the policy changed and I was stupid not to read the NEW policy I thought JCPenny would honor the policy agreements at time of purchase. Have good memories of JCPenny with my mom as a child. I'll never shop there again and tell everyone k ow don't buy your wedding rings there LOL! Your going to cry when JCPenny keeps them then have there lawyer pick on you for having an emotional reaction to losing your wedding...
Read moreMy one star was the result of an poor experience I received while getting my hair done today at the salon. My stylist Janis, AWESOME by the way. My horrible experience was as I was in her chair, a woman with two men came into the salon, stood 3 feet from where I was getting my hair done and yet did not great me.. The three continued their conversation about wallpapering the salon and store. While one might not think much of this it was after I greeted the men by saying "Good Morning gentleman" 3 times did I get a response by one of them. The woman, I was informed later name was "Sharon" who never spoke or apologized for being rude. Since I've come to NC and I've visited the store ive had nothing but outstanding customer service by Janis who did my hair a day prior to my wedding. Then a lovely young lady Britney, who helped me find dresses after the wedding. Spoke to a wonderful man who took great pride while washing the windows as i walked in the store. (I know 1st hand about doing that job). Had a long conversation with a woman in the men's department and bonded with about moving from NJ. Never did I ever feel this disrespected in the store. When I called to make this complaint I found "Sharon" is the store manager. One bad apple, leading an awesome crew, how long will it take before that example...
