I have been going to Jet's Pizza since they opened. I think I was one of their first customers. I visited Jet's on Saturday. It had been a while since I had been in and boy had it changed! Not for the good either. If you like me have not been in Jet's for a while be prepared to encounter major attitude from some of the staff.
I did not recognize Keisha, the cashier or the people fixing the food. I was a bit off put by her demeanor and her black and kool-aid red braids stacked sloppily on top of her head. But she seemed nice when she took my order. I ordered a SMALL garden salad which is quite expensive at $6. Jet's has good salads though and it is just large enough to share so I begrudgingly paid it. It took a very long time for them to prepare the salad probably close to 15 minutes. The cashier disappeared in the back somewhere for long periods of time only coming out when customers came in. When I received the salad I looked in the bag and there was one partially filled cup of salad dressing. The description for the salad says feeds up to 2 people so I asked for a second dressing. Again, the first one was not even full. The guy who brought me the salad said sure. The guy came back with the dressing and goes to hand it to me and then Keisha comes from the back intervening. She takes the dressing from the guy and proceeds to tell me that if I want it I have to pay an additional 80 cents. I have been in Jet's many times before and as I often get the salad with a pizza to share with another person I usually ask for 2 dressings and no one has ever asked for me to pay more for it. I tell her I just paid $6 for a SMALL garden salad and you are telling me I have to pay extra for a second dressing when the salad says it is supposed to feed up to 2 people? Keisha, the cashier, then tells me with a nasty attitude that she just works there she doesn't make the prices. Then she just stands there and stares at me with a salty expression. The whole time she is holding the dressing in front of her tightly like she is holding it hostage, like it's gold or something. I paid the 80 cent and left.
In hindsight, I should have asked for my money back for the salad and walked out. I was in a hurry to get back home by that point as I had been waiting for close to 15 minutes. I doubt I will be going back to Jet's Pizza anytime soon. They have good food but their prices are inflated and I refuse to give someone my hard earned money if they can't even be polite and reasonable. Read moreordered a 2 small specialty pizza and a soda last week and discover they forgot to include my soda but was already on the other side of town. Called back and a manager assured me that he would make a note so I could get the soda when ever I came in or ordered again. He assured me that if I came in and he was not there, that who ever was working wilI know. Well ordered today and asked that they include my soda. Mike Mills who identified himself as the general manager refuse to give me my soda and all but call me a liar about the soda. I couldn't believe their attitude after I spent a little over 38 dollars last week and 26 dollars today. I have no reason to lie about a soda. Very Poor costumer service and I will not be returning to this business ever again. They treat their costumers so poorly and was disrespectful. I am a business owner and I don't see them prospering with this attitude and to cheat your customer especially over something like a 20 oz soda. God help Mike Mills.
Continuation of my review: Received a call from one of the staff. Basically defending their position and behavior, with no apology. Offered me store credit if I take this review down. They really don't get it. What good is store credit when I don't want to return to aplace that disrespect me.They could care less about customer service....
Read moreOrdered a large pizza. Cost $28. They said 45 minutes to deliver and took over an hour. The actual size of the pizza [6 small slices with two toppings] which was roughly half what i expected especially considering the price. Driver took my money, walked off and didn't count or offer change. If this is their normal way they service, do business and quantity of food they offer for the price...i dont expect they will be around much longer. If you are a lover of this place...hope your luck is better than mine and get it while you can since they probably won't be in business in the near future. The only upside that might keep them alive is if COVID rears its ugly head again like it was at the beginning.
Jets rep called and we spoke about the situation. My hat goes off to him for his efforts to understand the situation. Atleast the pay attention to their review here. It shows that they value their customers and we were able to work things out other than the size of pizza you get for the price. Changing my rating to reflect their customer support...
