Ming Dynasty — Restaurant in Greenville

If I could give no stars I would. Myself and my friend came in at 1:30pm. We were offered buffet of which usually at any other Chinese restaurant ends at 3pm. Unfortunately this ends at 2:30pm of which we werent aware of no thanks to them. Anyways we get one plate of plain food with little choices as no fresh food is put out so we're basically eating scraps at 1:30pm. We asked waitress about items being refilled only to be told they weren't putting anymore food out. So we complain to management as they want to charge full price for not having fresh food. Management takes food that was on our table and says if we leave now she will take half off. Once at front we tell her to let people know when they come in after 1pm that they won't restock their little buffet bar. Manager calls us rude and sarcastically wants to talk down to us. She gets told off and then asks us not to return. We said gladly not ever again.

Please don't waste time or money on tiny buffet that she wants u to pay full price for after 1pm but yet you don't even have a fresh bar. Manager is money hungry with nasty attitude. Food is not good. Sesame chicken is worst I ever tasted. We just left and it has really...

THIS PLACE HAS BAD VIBES & EVEN WORSE FOOD!

I don't remember the last time getting takeout made me angry.

One of the women who works upfront has the scariest teeth I've seen & that'll take your appetite away instantly.

The other woman, the older one, is very brash. When I asked what an entree consisted of, she replied "just like what is says" and walked off.

WE WERE THE ONLY PATRONS IN THE RESTAURANT.

She was also loudly complaining to other workers about some customers they had earlier this morning. It was really annoying.

AS FOR THE FOOD -- It was horrible! My dish was burnt and just tasted burnt. My Chinese-American (so that dispels the other review suggesting they favor fellow Chinese people) boyfriend's dish was too bland and flavorless.

The egg roll was basically nothing but (waaay too much) black pepper and cabbage.

AS FOR THE ATMOSPHERE - Again, just a group of employees complaining about and bad mouthing former customers very very loudly.

I ate at the restaurant a few weeks ago and the food was awful. Mine was room room temp at best, my fathers was cold, the rice wasn't cooked all the way, and the noodles that came with my food were all stuck together like they'd been microwaved and tossed on the plate. We got food for takeout 2 days ago and, again, the food was horrible. My noodles for my Lo Mein weren't cooked all the way and the wonton soup was poorly prepared.

The food here used to be excellent. I don't know what's happened, if they're sourcing from cheaper vendors, if they are taking short cuts and not cooking all of their food to order, or if management has changed, but I will never eat there again. As soon as their packaging changed, the food started going down hill. The same thing is happening with this place as happened to Dragonfly which shut down not too long after they started microwaving their food. It's a shame whatever is happening. There are no other decent Chinese restaurants left...
