GK Cafe & Catering — Restaurant in Greenville

It was our first visit and upon our arrival the staff was nice. However as we went and sat in the back eating area (we were the only ones in there) no one came to our table, staff walked by us cleaning other tables, going back and forth to the kitchen and never came over to our table. However after several Caucasians entered the room staff immediately ran to their tables to take their orders. As we were about to leave the owner sent a guy over to our table to take our order. I still wanted to leave but my wife wanted to stay. After my wife addressed her concerns, the gentleman apologized saying that he was sorry and that he didn’t see us (when he was cleaning the tables all around us, but whatever). We ordered our food and the service from then on was good, the food was tasty and you get a good portion size for your money. The prices were fair and the establishment had a homey vibe and it was clean. Ordered a meat two veggies, roll to go dinner.I was told 15 minutes so timed my trip so that upon arrival should have been ready. I waited while other customers came ordered and left. I finally, after about twenty minutes of extra waiting on top of the drive time, asked is my order ready. It had been ready the whole time and nobody thought of calling my name out so that I could pay and leave. The lady's response to my remark was "you have to pay first" Well, Da hu! I know, but that's no reason to ignore someone standing in the vestibule looking very hungry wandering about his order! To make matters worst, the meal was $9.15 without a drink. I was expecting a meal that I would have leftovers. Wrong again, My meal consisted of a very small chicken leg and thigh with a spoon full of potato salad and a spoon of mac and cheese. Arrived right at 11 o'clock about 11:15 after waiting they still did not have food ready no macaroni and cheese no barbecue chicken when did you people come to work when did you get started and you steal charge me $9 for no macaroni cheese not appreciated And was told that it would be 20 more minutes before the macaroni and cheese would come out of the oven and that was at 11:15 I don't eat here because it always seems to be something but my sister loves the food here so I brought her here big disappointment Food needs to be ready at 11 o'clock if the doors by open at 11 o'clock and I know things happen but there is no excuse for that is you came to work on time And the onus of the establishment head the food to be prepared it should have been prepare But I thank God I can cook macaroni cheese and anything else wont...
