I use to enjoy going to this SB location when I first settled in Greenville. Now, it's a urban shelter haven for the (HOMELESS). (The HOMELESS definitely need to find a real shelter which is NOT Starbucks!). It's like their encroachment for the business and customers who want to enjoy the atmosphere and comfort. They all loiter in front or inside the building. They don't buy anything, not even a coffee?? Just take up the tables with their own drinks and food and corners using the free wi-fi and use the bathrooms. (God knows what their doing in there?? Taking a birdbath!) I was so grossed out as well as there was a homeless person in the corner using the wi-fi who kept coughing and coughing and coughing. No concern or respect to others nearby?? He wasn't even wearing a mask and just kept continuing on with his disturbing coughing. Other customers there were getting so disturbed and concerned about catching something (Covid maybe) they left! Can't say I blame them! The management there at SB and even the employees just turned a blind eye and didn't do anything or say anything? Even families who came in with their kids left immediately because of these shady homeless characters and the chances that their kids may catch something. There should be a city - wide ordinance that private businesses like Starbucks should not allow (HOMELESS) loitering in and outside businesses which can disrupt customer volume. There are shelters and churches that open their doors to the (HOMELESS). These are the places that can help provide and feed them at no cost. I come from a state with the most problematic homeless population ever. Therefore, I'm speaking my mind on this and my experiences.
My recommendation for customers is you're better off just going thru the...
Read moreUpdate 11/4 Wasn't aware of this... "Starbucks vowed that by 2025 at least 30% of its corporate employees and 40% of its retail and manufacturing workers would identify as Bipoc (black, indigenous, people of color)." Let's not forget LGBTQ+? and women's empowerment. It's not about equal rights anymore. It's about equity.
[2 months ago Yesterday these people tried to ignore I was ordering and today wasn't much different except that after I got my order taken (a vinti Americano- a simple coffee) I sat down and was patiently waiting while I noticed car after car roll through receiving their orders and person after person ordering at the register inside getting their orders while I was still waiting on a coffee. I tried to remain patient until someone approached the register and got a coffee within under 2 minutes! Eventually I snapped and demanded my coffee which was then given to me not more than about 2 minutes later. Make up all the excuses you want to try to make yourselves look good but at the end of the day this Starbucks has a clique of lowlifes that'll be excited to know they lost a regular customer who's never coming back. Maybe that was the plan- aggravate me enough to get rid of me , especially since I'm obviously homeless. Whatever your reason I'm done with...
Read moreI absolutely LOVE this Starbucks… I’m an avid coffee drinker, and though I’m not the biggest fan of Starbucks in general, this location in particular is just AMAZING… I stop by pretty often with my dogs in the mornings on the weekend and even though they’re usually busy the ALWAYS take the time to say hey to my dogs and exchange a moment of friendly chatter… some even remember my dogs names even though I know they see thousands of people and dogs everyday… just wanted to really acknowledge this crew because it really goes a long way… honestly I probably would not stop there otherwise… I know their job just be super fast paced and stressful so for them to still have it in them to maintain such a positive attitude and friendly disposition really says a lot about their character!!! No brand or shop is really any better than the staff and this staff makes this Starbucks the...
