We absolutely love this place and will often take a 45 minute drive to Greenville to eat here. The food is very good and presented nicely on the plate, hubby and I often share a breakfast and it comes to us all ready separate, any other place usually gives you a plate to do it yourself. We love our waitress, I believe her name is Dawn but forgive me if I'm wrong my memory with names is not what it use to be. She's real, meaning attentive, quick, a great sense of humor and just out right nice. As you might expect from a restaurant called the Garage the decor is themed with old vehicle parts that are displayed nicely and create great conversation pieces. The Garage has plenty of parking close to the doors both in front and back, it has been nice and clean every time we have came and wait time is next to nothing. My only quirk is people may not like where the restrooms are located but this is in a very old building and personally I think it's part of the historical charm. I would definitely recommend if your in Greenville and hungry stop here, you won't be...
Read moreReviewing while keeping in mind this place JUST opened and I'm sure they're still working out kinks, but overall had a really good experience when we stopped in for lunch today! The service was very nice, fast, and attentive and we enjoyed both of the burgers we ordered. I got an olive burger that was topped with a LOT of their house made olive spread, so much so that I think I scraped most of it off my burger and onto my fries but honestly that ended up being really good? Next time I'm in I may ask if I can get an order of fries topped with the olive sauce LOL the sweet potato fries were also tasty! One thing to note: my mom ordered a standard burger without mayo and they went REALLY heavy on the ketchup and mustard, but most of the burger was still enjoyed, haha. I miss the vibes of the previous place that was here, but I think they're off to a good start and I'll be back to try more of the menu (and I'd love to see them add things like a chicken sandwich or more vegetarian...
Read moreThe French toast looked pretty but was under cooked and you could only taste egg when eating it. The omelet egg to ham ratio was way off ended up being more of an egg omelet then ham and cheese. The upgraded sour dough toast was also a disaster not at all how the waitress described it and not even toasted properly. The server never came back until the end of the meal. Then, she tried to make up some excuses for the food when it was time to pay the bill. All in all a bad experience and would not recommend we came in at just after 11am not end of a work day time and there wasn't a crowd of people either so no rush for the food to be made...
