Customer service needs some work. When I walked in the door, there was one family sitting down eating. No-one else was in the restaurant. It took 15-20 minutes to place my order for one simple pizza. The 2 people behind the counter would just stare at me as they walked by, but they never said a word to me. When they finally acknowledged me, I asked for the current wait time for a thick crust pizza. They stated that they didn't have any thick crust pizza ready. So apparently the pizza isn't fresh, and with no-one else in the restaurant, couldn't they get some thick crust pizza ready? Or offer a discount or replacement item since they didn't have a regular menu item? Something? He stated that the New York style crust would be ready in about 10 minutes. 30 minutes later we got our pizza. Better late than never I guess, but an apology or discount for the extended wait time would have been nice. Now for the cost. Almost $20 for a large pepperoni and extra cheese pizza! Are you crazy! The pizza didn't even look like it had extra cheese. If it did have extra cheese, then they don't put much cheese on a regular pizza. Now, the pizza was pretty good. The sauce was perfect. The flavor of the dough was excellent. The dough was undercooked in the center, so each time you picked up a slice, the end of it would droop and the cheese would fall off. I'll probably give them one more try after they read this review. Maybe they can get a better understanding of good customer service. Also, it's pretty unprofessional to work in socks and flip flops and to kick a knife across the guest dining area into the kitchen like it's a...
Read moreWe have purchased the same things (double pepperoni pizza and Tizio calzone) since we moved nearby 3 years ago. It's under new mngt since the start of the year. I called once and no one answered. I called a second time and a lady answered who had no earthly idea what this place sold. In the past when we asked for a calzone that was most similar to a supreme pizza, the staff would always say you want the Tizio. Tonight they claimed no such thing existed since "everything has changed", although I now see it on the menu when I got home.
They made my wife order a custom calzone at $8 plus six ingredients at $1.25 each. That's $14.50. If they had suggested the Tizio plus pepperoni at $1.25, it would have cost us $10.25. A rip off. Honest places will always suggest the most cost effective way to get what you want. The $14.50 calzone was awful.. Completely awful. Gobs and gobs of ricotta cheese inside. Who makes a calzone with ricotta cheese? There was almost no extras inside that we paid $7.50 for.
We will never go back to this place. They do not treat their customers fairly. When I questioned the lady out front about why I wasn't given a Tizio price and why I had to order six ingrediaents when the Tizio already had five, she pointed to someone else as having taken the order and all he could say was that would take care of me. They did not.
Bad food and dishonest...

Update: 11/1/23
We revisited this place not realizing there were new owners. The place looks completely different and the food is trash. We spent $60 for two pizzas and 3 orders of cheese fries. The pizza sauce tasted funky. The crust would have been disgusting without the added fact that they also burned it. It looked like they threw whatever old meat they could find on the top of it and called it a masterpiece. We ended up throwing the bulk of it away and feasting on Halloween candy. Reese's to the rescue!
I read the comments about the non-english speaking people runnning the place and I would just like to add that it has nothing to do with a review for food and you should consider never leaving your house again. The world doesn't need you. These people were very nice and helpful. The woman behind the counter was incredibly sweet. They just can't seem to slap a...
