Update: 1/10/25
To assume I don’t know the difference between the smell of bacon and a strong detergent/freshener/cleaner is a little out there, don’t you think? I know negative reviews affect your business and I’m so sorry, but I hope this can help. It was not bacon, I assure you. It was a strong chemical/detergent scent. If I did walk into your store and smell bacon and then go home and taste a hint of bacon in my donuts that would have been a much different, happy and delicious experience.
———————————————— Upon walking into the store I was hit with a very strong chemical/cleaner smell. I didn’t think much of it and ordered a few donuts. The man helping me was very kind. He even offered to make a donut for me that wasn’t on display. The prices were also fair so I was pleasantly surprised. When I got home I took a bite into a donut and could taste that chemically smell. I realized that every donut I bought absorbed whatever that intense smell was when I walked into the store. I was repulsed and had to throw them all away. I went in the afternoon so maybe they had been sitting out all day and absorbed whatever was in the air. If I went early in the morning when they were fresh then maybe I’d have a completely different experience. I’m disappointed because now I’m not sure I’ll ever give them another chance. Please consider using...
Read moreWe've been going here for about 35 yrs. It's changed hands a couple times. I love the filled french Vanilla one. Only for last few years not so good.. They would barely put any filling in at all, just a little dollop, once just a very small drop on top and nothing, nothing inside!!! So we backed off going but just once in awhile. Yesterday we went, and pleasantly surprise! It was like it used to be.... Nice amount of filling! (Not too little and not too much) Finally... After about 4/5 years. Yay!!! We will be back a lot sooner...but maybe that's not so good for me.! But if that's my day to splurge then hey... Why not😜 Please keep putting a good amount of filling in the donuts that are suppose to have filling! Thank you The Blairs
Update. We have now been back 3x since, once they were out. But the other 2x very DISAPPOINTED again. ..barely any filling!!! Actually just what you see on top is what you get.... To me if you purchase a FILLED donut...don't you expect filling??? At least 1oz or 2. That still is not going to break the bank! Or is it just me??? Too many times Disappointed!!! Maybe we'll try again someday and maybe...

Over the many decades, I have gone to countless donut shops in different states & countries. I have to say that this particular donut shop is the absolute best of them around.
It is a small, family owned shop with many varieties of donuts made fresh, in-house daily. Even as the economy shifts and we see inflation / shrink-flation everywhere we look, the owners of this shop have only increased their prices over the many years by a minimal amount just to combat the supply price skyrocketing. Rather than the average shop that went from $1 donuts to $2 donuts in 1 year, this shop will see a mere fraction of that increase.
As for the waste (or 'food loss') at the end of the day, there is NONE! They properly package and secure any and all unsold donuts from the day and sell them at a severely reduced price the following day. This way, if you don't have that much money to spare but want a nice treat, you can spend a mere $3.60 and get a big bag of donuts!
