My husband and I decided it was time to look for a new mattress. Sigh. Mattress shopping can be so overwhelming! Our first stop today was to Mattress World Northwest in Gresham, Oregon. James greeted us and helped steer us toward what we wanted. We DID NOT want to lie down on a hundred mattresses and then try to pick one. James asked us what we were looking for and gave us a handful of choices to try out. He was so knowledgeable about mattress construction, durability, fluff vs loft, etc., and readily answered our questions. Within 15 minutes he helped us narrow our choices down to two. Then it was up to us! :-) We bought one and decided not to go to any other store. We knew we had received excellent advice and accurate information to inform our decision and there was no reason to shop around. Bonus - the one we chose was on sale! It was not an overwhelming experience and we feel good about our decision. We'll get our new mattress in two weeks and we can't wait. Came in with a client several weeks a go I care-give who had gone through an absolutely horrible experience with another local mattress store who took his money, and promised 4 times over a 2-3 week period his mattress and box springs were going to be on a truck to be delivered to him, only to find out the set would probably never come. Now he must wait 7-10 days or more for his refund!!! Too long a story, but from the moment my husband called this store, we had a good feeling things would come out alright, and indeed they did!
