Update McDonald's corporate said only the restaurant could refund us. Went back and was told yet again they can't. This location seriously needs new management and training... Do not eat here.. the location a few miles up the road is hands down nicer and better quality! Purchased two cup meals on 8.19.24 at 730pm. Once we arrived we gave our order ahead number to the drive up and was told to pull forward. Once we got to the window to pick up our food, a guy came out and said we ran out of cups sorry. We said oh ok so where the good then? He said no cups sorry! We said alright can we have the food and a coupon or refund? He said no cups! We said yeah but how do we get our money back or can we order something else? He then yelled no refunds! We stayed calm as we work in customer service too, clearly this employee is having a bad day. The guy then got a girl to translate for him. She was clearly annoyed having to speak for him. As she was then very blunt and obviously annoyed. She said yeah he told you no refunds what do you want? We said either let us get something else or a refund please. She said I told you no refunds we said ok then can we order something else? She said no no refunds what didn't you understand? We said what didn't you understand your not giving us food or a refund for your own outage that's not ok. She said yeah just go on your app they'll refund you. We asked where on the app she said I don't use it I don't know just got there. We let her know we couldn't find anything she said to call then. At that point we asked for her managers name. She told us after looking at him wired. Then another lady with a yellow vest ran up to the window and yelled what's happening why are you holding up or line! We said no refunds move on! We said excuse us we're either wanting food or a refund since we paid ahead on the app. She is get your refund on the app your holding up or line! We said the app isn't letting us can we please have something else or a refund? She then asked the manager but called him a different name then we were told. We asked her what his name was again she told us another name... We said ok this is right either give us something else or pay us back. She said no you need to go you need to go online! So we left. Then found out from McDonald's corporation only the store could refund us.... Horrible service, lying about being able to do refunds then the manger lying about his own name.. we've always had a consistent nice time at McDonald's for 40 years.. this was the first time it was horrible so very sad to see customer service doesn't exist at...
Read moreThe only time i leave a review is when my experience was so bad (or good) that i just HAVE to caution people. 1st with hope that these employees read these reviews sometimes i would like to tell you dont ask me if i want my change back , it is MY money of course i want it back lol. If i dont, it should be up to ME, the customer to tell you to keep it . Thats just good manners. With that being said i went through the Drive Thru now at the 1st window, as i am being handed my change, the employee asks me if i want my receipt, i said "no thats ok", which i am sure 90% of customers probably say the same thing. i then continue to the 2nd window where i then see the sign that says "for returned items a receipt must be provided", now i see why that same sign isnt as the 1st window where im asked if i want a receipt. So of course i got home and noticed they put onions on my burger where i asked for none, so i call to tell them the mistake they made and that i would like to come back to have it fixed, i am told by the very rude manager that i need to have the receipt in order for them to even correct the mistake they made, it, i told her i didnt have a receipt but i have the grill tag with the burger that also has my order number on it she told me i need to have a receipt this made no sense to me so i explained again incase she misunderstood i dont have a receipt but was not asking for a refund anyways just for them to fix it, that i am highly alergic to onions, and it was thier mistake and they should fix it thats when she tells me it was my mistake cause i didnt choose to take the receipt. If there is such thing as providing the kind of customer service to get return visits this store has a lot of learning to do. And if this person is who they chose to manage and lead the others i would hate to see who they passed up as leaders. I hope that the owner reads these customer reviews too so they know what is REALLY going on in thier store cuz there are far to many otĥer mcdonàlds to choose from who just may actually care about...
Read moreStaff exhibited none of the characteristics applicable to what I would consider "customer service oriented". Myself and other customers who were picking up their order were blatantly ignored, looked past and served around. The two young ladies who were serving orders at the counter intentionally avoided eye contact turned and walked away whenever I asked for the sweet and sour sauce I had requested with my meals at the kiosk when I ordered. They were not so busy as to interrupt their gossip concerning scheduling and somebody showing up and then leaving and the drama that then ensued; but to their credit, They seem to have been having a small Rush, and there was also what I would consider an annoying or difficult customer in line ahead of me. I understand we're all human and was fully prepared to afford them the grace to gather their wits accordingly. However, I don't think that's an excuse for having served six orders past me as I stood in front of the counter and repeatedly asked with slightly increasing volume for the sweet and sour sauce for the three chicken nugget meals that I had ordered. The disrespect and flippant attitude was unlike anything I've ever experienced; totally misdirected, uncalled for, and unconscionable. There were several other people who had place orders behind me also asking for small items or missed condiments to complete their order and be on their way. Once afforded the attention of the young lady in the vest, and served my three sweet and sour sauces, she finally made eye contact and asked"did you ask him?". At first I was confused, and looked around me starting to ask who, why, what? Before realizing she was indicating the gentleman employee exiting the bathroom, cleaning tools in hand. I'm not sure if this was meant to be some sort of sarcastic dig, a serious question, or some sort of inside joke.. a facet of their blanket disassociation from their roll as customer facing Representatives of the...
