I was at Migration today for the purpose of exchanging a keg and was met with an incredibly frustrating experience. Unfortunately, the hassle I encountered left me disappointed and questioning the level of customer service provided by the establishment.
My previous encounters with Migration Brewing have been marred by similar inconveniences, and this visit was no exception. As a customer seeking to purchase kegs for various occasions, I expected a seamless and efficient process. However, I was met with unnecessary complications and unhelpful staff members.
During my visit today, not only did Migration Brewing refuse to exchange the keg as requested, but they also declined to provide a refund for the deposit. This left me feeling frustrated and dissatisfied, as it seems counterintuitive for a business whose primary focus is to sell beer to create obstacles for selling beer.
One of the essential aspects of any business is providing excellent customer service. Regrettably, Migration Brewing fell short in this regard. The staff seemed disinterested in resolving my issue or addressing my concerns, which only added to my disappointment. I believe that a more customer-centric approach would greatly benefit their reputation and overall customer satisfaction.
It is essential for businesses to understand the value of a positive customer experience, especially in such a competitive industry like brewing. By streamlining their keg exchange process and adopting a more accommodating stance towards customers, Migration Brewing could significantly improve their standing among consumers and promote loyalty within their customer base.
I sincerely hope that Migration Brewing takes these concerns to heart and works towards enhancing their customer service standards. As a loyal customer, it is disheartening to encounter such difficulties when dealing with a business that I once held in high regard. I hope that future customers have a more positive experience and that Migration Brewing takes the necessary steps to rectify their shortcomings.
While I am giving 2 stars considering they produce my favorite beer. I will not be returning with my business in the future. I instead went to John's Marketplace and purchased a keg in less than 5 minutes with only 1/3rd the cost of a deposit. That they're actually...
Read moreI'm just feeling a sort of way as I don't leave a lot of reviews. This review kind of applies to Portland as a whole. When you have people in the roles of customer service I feel like at the base level they should be friendly. I didn't feel that welcome here and that goes for a lot of service in Portland. Another thing is how does such a cool looking and trendy establishment not have metal forks? It doesn't bother me too much but I find it strange as I feel like the building probably cost a good penny. Food and drink are pretty great!
Edit: In response to comment it was just a person in particular that seemed to be grumpy but I just get this so much in Portland that I felt I needed to comment on it. Just overall not very cheery and I took a couple minutes to set my stuff down at my table. While they were pouring my drink I walk back and they were visibly frustrated that I didn't stand there waiting for my drink to be poured holding a bunch of stuff... Didn't think it was that big of deal to set my stuff down.
As for the plastic fork... I got a plastic fork... Not much more I can say
I just want to put this out there not for your business specifically but for Portland as a whole. Stop hiring/being grumpy servers. This might have just been I got unlucky, but since I seem to get this grumpy vibe so many times I get kind of frustrated. (Again it is not just...
Read moreThe beer is always good rarely great, but the service, food, and ambiance are top notch it's also not overly expensive. Solid place in the middle of not a lot of choices.
In response to owner about beer: Let me clarify I am a big fan of this place but if you wanna take the next step... Frankie and Westward Frankie are wonderful but very rare to see, the black is beautiful was good too, get some diversity up on the board is all I ask! Nitro stouts and porters are dark, but there are a pretty small niche of people who drink that. Also you guys are super capable in the kitchen why hasn't the menu changed in 5 years!? No burgers? You are already making sandwiches you have everything but the patty. This spot is your point of origin for beer there should be some real fancy limited edition stuff up on the tap list, a keg at a time (including yellow ones) on 4-6 taps at all times! Let the folks that drive to your spot and buy your food, T-shirts, hats, and stuff taste your experimental batches, ask for feedback, that'd be awesome! I'd like to see a 7-8 percent everyday stout up there (at all times year round), Frankie light lol, BBA 10+ stuff can be rare and seasonal, you guys need a cavatica/lights out rival. Does the world need 16 shades of yellow beer? If it's ABV starts with a 4 or a 5... It should be listed under kids menu so people know that they...
