Joy Teriyaki — Restaurant in Gresham

I’ve been coming to this specific location on & off for about 5years. Today was my last time ever going ! I walked in with my two kids & was immediately stared down by the man at the counter. I smiled said hello, and asked how he was... No answer... so I asked for a water cup so my kids could get some water... again no answer... so I just ordered a chicken bowl... I asked again for the water cup and he ignores me... then proceeds to ask for the $6... I give him the money & again I ask for the water cup !!!!! He finally gives it to me staring the entire time !!! I get my food & go stand at a table just to use the sauces there & he’s staring the entire time So I’m really irritated by this point but I’m still polite.. I go to the counter to ask for four siracha to go cups.. he says no I’m only giving you one.. I told him I’d pay for it.. and he says no I’m not giving you four ! I then asked to use the siracha bottle 3x... and as I’m using it he just staring at me with so much hate I told him it was a beautiful day outside & he should cheer up.. he said he didn’t care waved his hand in the air.. as I’m leaving in my car he’s flipping me off from inside the restaurant behind the counter !!! I will never return & I hope he gets shut down !!!! How dare he do that to me when I’m with...

I came in to get two chicken and rice orders, One for me to eat here and one for my daughter at home. They insisted I Not allowed to Order two to go orders if I wanted to start one here. So I ordered one for here and went to sit down. The tables were sticky, and the windows were filthy. Posted around the restaurant were signs, NO REFILLS, and that we are not allowed to eat from a takeout order if we were in the restaurant!

The manager was stalking the restaurant and i was sure he’d throw me out for eating too slowly while reading a book! He was scary! But he didn’t seem to care about the filthy door.

I asked for the second order, that we talked about earlier- teriyaki beef and rice ($8). The full meal deal was brought to me in a takeout bag, including salad, for several dollars more. AFTER I paid a tip! Because the second meal came with a salad I didn’t want or order, but paid for, I did pull it out of the take out bag; and ate it with the manager keeping a stink eye on me the whole time!

Frightening and filthy fast food experience, the atmosphere with the dirt and the stalking manager, made the food taste bad.

The girl at the counter was busy the whole time. This negative review should in no way reflect on her. ...

“CUSTOMER GOT KICKED OUT” restaurant for eating to go order inside restaurant! Don’t come to this restaurant everyone!

Everyone this is very embarrassing to me, the service and how I were treated. This place is very bad, not only bad customer services but also you can not eat anything that you order to go to buy to go inside the restaurant. I GOT KICKED OUT the restaurant for eating my to go order. When I order my food, clerk ask me do I want it to go or eat in restaurant. I told the clerk that I order to go but goin to eat in restaurant Incase I can’t finish my food but she didn’t said anything about can’t eat to go order inside. And yet, out of no where, the clerk came to me while I were eating my food, told me to go, can’t eat my food there. This is so embarrassing for me, I paid for my foods in full and should have the right to eat there too but instead I got KICKED OUT!!!!
