Don’t use your credit card here. They change the amount after you sign for it. My friends and I had lunch and paid with cash tip and all. We stayed a little longer so I had one beer. Ran out of cash so put it on my debt card. When I signed the receipt price was 5.75 on the receipt. I put a dollar tip on. So I wrote 6.75 and signed it. The guy came back ten minutes after and gave me my card back. I said to my friends I’m keeping an eye on my bank account I don’t trust him for keeping my card so long. Well at 1am my bank text statement came on my phone. I was charged 57.00. Well I was right. So next day I go up there. I see the kid that helped us. I said remember me? He didn’t. I said I was sitting over there yesterday. Then he did. I yelled loud enough for everyone to hear you charged me 57.00 for one beer. Jakki the manager came over. I showed her my phone and the charge. She went to check on it. The kid said “I thought I made a mistake now it’s confirmed”. Jakki comes back and said he changed it afterward and showed me. He didn’t change it afterward or he wouldn’t have said he thought he did make a mistake now it’s confirmed. Plus it didn’t come through on my phone. I went to the store at nine that night and that purchase came through from the bank. So Jakki was lying to me. She changed it just then. If he changed it it would have had the tip added but it didn’t due to she didn’t know that amount. The kid didn’t give me my card back until ten minutes after he gave me the receipt to sign. I told my friends I’m keeping track of my bank account he kept the card a long time. So then at 1am I find out I got charged 57 dollars for a beer. Why didn’t Jakki say she fixed it. She said it didn’t come through your bank because it’s the weekend. That’s not true since my 9pm purchase came through. I paid Puffs at 5pm same day as going to store. I don’t know what game they are playing but use only cash going here. Myself I will never go back. Maybe I can find the owner and see if he cares about their dishonesty. If I never seen my bank statement I wouldn’t have gotten my money back. And I haven’t gotten it back yet. He changed the amount after I signed the receipt. Funny business going on there. I’m retired and don’t have the money to leave the kid a 50.25 tip. Best thing to do is go to an honest place like Diamond Darcy’s. There beer is...

I visited this place tonight to catch up with one of my girls. Service was very slow. After 15 mins we were able to order but it took another 35 mins for our food to come out.I completely understand if the place was busy and maybe they didn't have all the help they usually do but out waitress didn't make eye contact or come to let us know it'd be a while; we had to approach her first. After our night was over (and the food didn't taste very fresh) we tried several time to wave her down to get our check. It came to $16.50 and we had not had any alcoholic drinks. After about 20 mins and several attempts we then approached the bar and still could not get anyone to take our mone or look our way. It was cash btw. I stepped slightly behind the counter (which I know I shouldn't do but we could not get anyone to take our cash!) We walked away as the counter guy was very rude and I tried to explain we were just trying to pay our tab. We walked out the door and was very quickly approached by several memebers of the bar, both customers and employees. When security came up we handed over the $20 we had been trying to pay with for the last 45 mins and explained to him that no one would take it. He quickly changed his demeanor and took the money and told us to have a good day. I know that this place can have decent service sometimes but I was so disappointed tonight as they were not that busy. I don't think I'll ever be going back after...

This place has a name behind it for sure and going in you can see why. Roomy, clean, etc. but unfortunately, my experience thus far has led me to believe the staff (obivously not all but it's more than just 1) is possibly racist? I only question because nothing was directly said. But literally every one and everyone can get service somehow in that place. Just to simply get acknowledgment here I'm standing and waiting for as long as 20 minutes. And that's not even to be helped. And I can't help but notice the difference is the rest of the patrons happen to be white. And this isn't exaggeration either. Like they literally go out of their way in really obvious ways to avoid me. One time There were 3 people working the bar. I would say roughly 4 patrons besides me, at least one of them being served as I walked up. Drink was in hand before I could sit down. Every employee literally looked over me as though I was invisible for well over 15 minutes. Even giving one guy who had gotten there several minutes after me a water and proceeded to engage in small talk without so much as a glance over my way. It's weird because I truly thought this wasn't a thing around here. And its happened similarly every time I have gone there. I hope this bar does better because despite the weird, passive aggressive, rude attitude shared by wait staff... This bar has a lot...
