MOD Pizza — Restaurant in Gresham

I'm not at all going to complain about the lack of management skills at this place, however there was an employee who began being seriously out of line towards customers who , like myself had online orders to pick up. This gentleman began to bark at everyone going on about how by us looking at the online order delivery "superfast" pickup, won't make any pizza go faster. I was waiting two hours before the self proclaimed manager decided to start barking at me after he went off on a female customer, yelling at her and making her most likely embarrassed. I told the this person that this is no way to be talking to customers, so he then went off about refusing my service, refusing the doordash orders I was waiting on, telling his stressed out coworkers not to give me the orders, and saying I'm 86d. Needles to say, this was the absolute disgusting form of any customer service I ever came across, and he should really quit the job. Unfortunately due to his ranting antics, making false claims, even called me the N word. Even after I'm minding my own, as the minutes past, he would t stop. Unfortunately the customers I had waiting on me to deliver there food not only did I have to cancel my delivery, they had also been waiting 2 hours for the bad news that my delivery would ne unassigned and I will not in the future be at anytime accepting any orders that are for MOD pizza. If this behavior is what MOD Pizza wants to employ, I'm not game for that, that's toxic, and it's threatening, and outright childish rude disgusting way to treat customers.

P.s. He tried blocking the doorway with his body talking on the phone to the police I guess, but he hi tailed his way back inside once he seen me start to record...

MOD Pizza Gresham - You need to do better I believe, our family had been turned away at the door because they are not accepting walk in orders. I was like ??? - What are you taking about? That’s crazy cakes, never seen this anywhere and anytime this is just a fantastically bad business model if you ask me. The staff inside told us it’s because we can’t keep up with the online orders we currently have, so we can’t take walk in orders. Well I then looked around and did a quick head count, They are not under staffed having 6 members working up front that I could see, one person working the oven and one boxer and four making pizzas - that seems pretty average for any location.

I do understand on Friday nights it can be a little busy, but really this would have never been acceptable a very short time ago when MOD first opened for business. This would be the first time I have ever heard of this. I guess times are a changing and customer service being dead today with the kids they hire now a days and with poor leadership in place, what else can one expect. So we left with no pizza from MOD, we went to around the corner to Flying Pie Pizzera, they had no problem with us walking in for orders. Flying Pie Pizzera has fantastic service and the pizza...

MOD Pizza is almost always good so this review isn't about the food. when my daughter, son-in-law, and I arrived there was a line. there were five employees and only one working the line. one of the employees was just standing there making crusts, which weren't needed as was verified by the three that had been sitting there so long they were hard and she threw them out. one of the other employees was working the oven and 2 were just walking around. after the customers in front of me were serviced, the woman putting together the pizza crusts said to the employee working the line that she needed to work on the internet orders because they were past due. she then briefly stopped making the pizza crusts, asked me what I was ordering, and then before I could say anything she walked away and started making pizza crusts again. at this time, the line was out the door. My party of 3 and several other people behind me all left and went and ate at Killer Burger next door. Also, as we were leaving the employee making the pizza crusts said have a good day while laughing like it was some kind of joke. when I'm in the area again, I will go to Killer Burger as not only did they have great service, but they had great...
