I went in at 8:30 PM (they close at 9), and both employees saw me walk in — one was washing dishes and the other was talking on their phone. They made eye contact but didn’t greet me or acknowledge me at all. After standing there for about two minutes, I finally said hello and asked if someone could take my order. I was shocked nobody greeted me or came to take my order. It’s almost as if they were hoping if they ignored me long enough I’d just leave.
After I asked for someone to come take my order, the girl washing dishes very dramatically rolled her eyes at me, put down what she was doing, and walked over with a very rude tone, saying, “What can I get you?” When I told her there was no reason to roll her eyes, she brushed it off with, “It’s been a long night.” I understand everyone has long days, but that’s not an excuse for unprofessional behavior toward customers — especially when it was still well before closing time. A hard lesson of working in the grown up world is that just because we have a bad day, we still have to perform well at our places of employment. At this point, I honestly just wanted to leave.

The tables, chairs and floor were so dirty with food and used napkins but we thought maybe they just had a busy lunch crowd and hadn’t caught up on the cleaning. I ordered the spicy tuna bowl my husband and daughter ordered custom bowls. All of our fish — the tuna in particular — was so fishy tasting and seemed old. The worst part is the cilantro was filled with human hair! 🤢 It was absolutely disgusting and we could not believe it.
