We stopped here whilst on vacation in CT from MA. We are made up of 2 adults and 1 preteen. We were all able to get something to eat here. The reviews looked good, so we gave it a try.
My pork and chives dumplings were the best I've ever had. I got them with spicy sauce because I love spicy food and I was not disappointed. It was not only spicy but also flavorful. The domplings were perfectly pan-fried. So good!
My daughter got shrimp lo mein. She was thrilled to find it came with mushrooms and broccoli as well (and carrots). Of corse she liked the shrimp. She said it was really good. This was her first time having lo mein, but shes quite boujie with shrimp. So I was glad she liked the dish.
I got a brown sugar bobba milk tea. It was great. No complaints. We dined in, and the woman brought us all of our food. She was very considerate and polite.
There seemed to only be 2 people working, but they seemed to have it down packed. The man was cooking away, he definitely knew what he was doing, and the woman took orders, phone calls, cleaned, brought out food, ran the register, etc.
I'll definitely be stopping for more dumplings and bobba tea any time I...
Read moreWe were near the area, hungry for food and had been craving Asian food when we came across this gem! So nice to have some gf dumplings and noodles! The noodles were thick like udon, cooked al dente, in a tasty sauce. There were other offerings, as well, and frankly, I wanted one of each! Talked with the staff and they were very conscious about cc and have a separate prep area for gf food. I suspect a separate fryer, as well, but I didn't ask. The place is more of a take-out space, with several customers in and out while we were there, but there were a few tables, and since we live a little far, we sat down to eat. They were very nice and accomodating. Will definitely come back,...
Read moreRight from the start I knew this place was going to be good. That being said: it's because it's the first place I've seen a multitude of authentic items on the menu. From General Tso's chicken to Red Bean Bao, to even the most flaky and tasty scallion pancakes. The hot sauce was the perfect amount of heat for the location. And Harry was very hospitable. Going on the Fourth of July might have been in our favor to get quick service, but I hope my review encourages others to give this new restaurant a warm welcome and hopefully a permanent spot on...
