Edit: I see no one acknowledged what I wrote, which is OK. Another issue I want to bring to the table is that I loved this company for their efforts in conservation with most everything being encouraged to go into the recycling pile. We'll, at this store there is no longer a recycling bin. I think it's outside but it's deconstructed.
Also the carnitas has not been full and fresh for some time. They had to bring it from another area of the store at lunch time after I asked for something fresher. Though many of their locations have this problem usually this location is better about it.
Written 12/2023 I'm a big fan of Chipotles, usually I come mid day and have no issues. Compared to the one in Norwich they are so much better quality. However, today I called an hour before closing to see if their hours were different due to it being new years. They didn't pick up the phone. I was over 20 minutes away, and was getting over being sick and had slept all day and only Chipotles would do so I made the journey. Yes it was ten minutes to close so I didn't expect much. I went in the restaurant and they had already pulled everything apart. I just asked hey, it's too late right? Crickets... They literally ignored me, one looked up from his phone then looked back down again! I was flabbergasted. I asked two more times when finally one of them gave me the curtest barely an answer I didn't even know what he said. I was heading out the door then a nice woman came out and said hi did you need something? I said oh hi, I was hoping to get some food but I guess you guys already started wrapping up. She looked concerned and went to the food and then went to the guy putting it in the back who gave me the non answer, where he just said "no Mas" he's absolutely 100% white BTW. Lol She apologetically came back and said she was sorry which I appreciated. The no mass dude was skinny white, close cropped hair, getting close to mid age and seemed like he was in a position of authority. Just in case the company is looking at this and wondering cuz he could use some videos on customer service. Cuz obviously it wasn't just a bad day but the culture there cuz the other dude was legit just ignoring me and texting on his phone and they both acted like that was A ok.

As a heads up to anyone who might be contemplating ordering delivery from this place, Please take this warning from me that they have chosen to use Doordash, but don't list that information anywhere on the mobile app or website until after you checkout. Don't trust 3rd party delivery? Too bad!
I ordered two burritos and chips /queso & spent the next 2 hours waiting for these to arrive. When they did they were cold and lacking chips / queso. I would have communicated this to the doordash driver, but he did not speak English as a primary language and instead told me to ask the restaurant about it. (Again, Doordash is horrible, avoid it like the plague or beware cold burritos)
Going completely against the point of ordering delivery, in the attempt to avenge my burritos and ghosted chips/queso, I drive over to Chipotle to ask what was going on. According to the person I spoke with, they ran out of chips and queso, and there was nothing they could do about the cold burritos.
They did however offer me a refund on the chips portion - all I had to do was hand over my receipt (not sketchy at all) and my account would be credited the 6 odd something dollars at an unspecified time (also sketchy) and my soul could finally be put to rest.
Well Chipotle, it's been over a month now since that tragic day, and I still haven't gotten my refund (or my chips). I took a picture of that receipt too, and I've got the bank statements to prove that you ripped me off.

Read moreI've been to other Chioptie's before and I've have had great experiences. Sadly this was not the experience at this one. My wife places and online order, paid for with a decent tip. So I go to pick it up at the drive through since the doors are closed at 8pm. Now you would think that since the orders are pre ordered on an app that upon arriving you would not have to wait long. Think again, I get in line and I'm there for about 15 minutes before I finally get to the pick up window, at which time an employee asks me the name the order is under. Not being sure which name my wife placed it under I give her our last name along with both my wife's and my first name. Nope its not here the employee says. Any other name it could be under the employee asks, nope I say thats it. The employee again says well its not here. I then say so what do I do now, since I paid for it with a nice tip included. The employee just looks at me. I again give the employee our names along with the pick up time of 8:10pm (its about 835pm now). The employee asks me what I had and then gives me a bag containing the order. I say what name was it under, the employee replies with my first name. I say thats what I gave you . Crickets. I get home and surprise surprise the food we get is not our order. Every once in a while someone working at a location has a bad day, I get it , it happens but when you go online and see over 600 reviews with a score of 2.8, theres a larger reason for it.
