Won’t be back here again.. honestly hadn’t been in a long time, but our favorite place was closed tonight. Way over priced, food is not authentic and the staff can be pretty rude! We ordered a ground beef chimichanga and the meat was raw. Red, raw. I called to notify the restaurant and see how we could resolve this. The girl who answered asked me to please hold while she gets her manager on the phone. The manager, without even seeing the food because mind you we’re on the phone, in a defensive tone proceeds to tell me that there is no way the ground beef is raw, they have never and would never serve raw ground beef. They have a “thing” that the cooks use to check the temperature to ensure nothing raw leaves the kitchen. That they use a seasoning that can make the meat red. At this point I’m frustrated, I was like what? My husband chimes in to tell her he’s a cook too and that’s raw. She asked me what I want her to do, if I want to bring it back or for her to give me a refund. I decided to bring it back and be refunded. When I get there she said “are you the one with the chimichanga?” I said yes and she asked to see it. She points to the raw meat with a shocked expression and was like “you mean this!?” I said yup. She told me she had to go show her cook. Then she comes back and explains they have a process where they have to show the cooks first, but that she’s going to refund me. Get this, she still denies the meat is raw! She explains that they boil the meat, then they cook it, then it sits on warmer where it gets checked throughout the day….. but she understands why I was worried and she would’ve been too. But how hard is it to cook fresh ground beef that you have to meal prep it!? Barf! Also as someone who has worked in customer service for 12 years, and the food industry multiple times, I don’t understand how through all of that the manager didn’t take any bit of accountability! Because as humans we all typically understand when a mistake is made, but to not take accountability?? I was so confused and so ticked....

We have been a frequent diner here for the last 5 yrs. Usually everything is fine 31/2🌟 "usually" but this time it was disappointing.I ordered chicken quesadilla as a meal for lunch and I received cheese quesadillas, so I asked to returned it. But to my dismay, because the chick tasted leftover and very dry. Feeling bad i didnt have the heart to send it back again so I ate it. But i did let them know about the chicken being too dry. The gentleman cashier clearly took offense to my complaint, but the server was apologetic. I should've gotten some kind of reimbursement but was offered nothing but a scowlling face and a sorry waitress. Later i had an upset stomach to add to my trouble and to make it worst this was my bday weekend and I wanted to end it with my favorite little Mexican restaurant but was left with a bad taste. I will wait before trying this place again. I've been in the food industry as well, so I understand being busy and making mistakes but chicken quesadillas are very easy to make. And serving dry expired chicken should be a huge no. I'm so sad I feel the need to post this, but y'all need to do better. I still love my little Mexican...

This place is a great place to come for quick and delicious Mexican food. The restaurant is nicely decorated with memorabilia from the country and the music is a nice touch. The food is tasty. I had a 2 item combo which was a Chicken Flauta and a Shredded Beef Hard Taco. All which came with a small side salad and Rice and Beans. I had a Mexican Apple Soda to drink which is also one of my favorite beverages. Next time though I think I will try the Sangria Soda instead! The Chocken was nicely seasoned and tender and so was the Shredded Beef. The Flauta was cooked perfectly and everything came out very quickly. I also has the Chips and Salsa with some Guacamole which was Delicious!!! This place is a real gem, especially since there is not too much this side of Lake County. I will be visiting here again. Actually, I think that this place just became my go to place for Mexican food. THANK YOU...

Tried it today ot was ok. The Salsa was very good chips were warm. We had the taco salad and fajitas (steak) parking lot had lots of cars but plenty of seats inside. The menu is old and outdated things scattered throughout. I've never ordered fajitas that they did not come sizzling these didn't. The taco salad meat was cold. I would try again in the future possibly. The fajitas were ok but the portion was a little slim and was not fond of the large cuts of green pepper. The wait staff was nice but instead of chatting could have been a little more attentive.
