It seems to me as though Taco Bell has made some modifications to their taco recipe. I don't want to say any more than that. Only because if by chance I am incorrect. I don't want to be the cause of others forming a placebo impression. I don't want to hurt Taco Bell's business either. I know of 3 other people who think that something is different too. I would be grateful if as many people as possible would participate in an unofficial Nation Wide Taco Bell Taste Test. Simply go to the taco bell of your choice. Purchase some tacos, burritos and other items that you might want to try. Then reply with your findings back here to me. I will record all participants findings and after the taste test concludes. I will put out all of the completed findings right here. I will ensure that everybody's anonymity is honored. The information I will need from anybody who chooses to participate is this: 1) the location of the Taco Bell you went to. 2)Tell me how many people did the taste test in your group. Were you the only one testing. 3) Tell me which Taco Bell Menu Items were tested. 4) What are the findings/results from your test(s)? In other words. For this question. Which will be question #4. The answer for every item that was tested. Must be one of these answers: •Definitely A Changed Taste, •Definitely No Change, • Uncertain / Can't Be Certain Either Way. 5) If you suspect that there was a change... On question #5 please say what you think has been changed. IE. has there been an ingredient added or removed? List those ingredients(s) here. 6)• Say •Yes if you like the different flavor, • No if you don't like it. • Leave a: "?" If you are unsure. 7) Please leave any details and over all comments regarding your conclusion(s) and experience. Today is Jan. 20, 2024 at 4:15 pm Pacific time. I will collect all results beginning immediately until February 20, 2024 at 4:15 pm Pacific time. I will compile all results at that time. Then crunch the numbers and post the results right here on February 22, 2024 after 1 PM Pacific time. Thank You in advance to all who choose to participate. I will provide all who participate with a small gift of acknowledgement after I post the findings. Have Fun With...
Read moreThe service here has been wildly inconsistent since a few months ago. Prior to the massive decline you'd expect the occasional mistake, but the service was fast, professional, and most importantly, predictable. I'm a former food service worker myself, so I'm not here just to complain and nitpick... it's been pretty severe. We've had a lot of small items that are carelessly slapped together, with a different and sometimes disgusting amount/lack of cheese, sauce, etc., each time. Items with substitutions or additions are 50/50 on whether they will actually do it, which can make or break the item if you are particular. One chicken quesadilla came mostly empty... over half of it was just tortilla stuck together. That item is over $4. That particular night, the line was also insanely long with a wait unlike any I've experienced at that location. A couple of young men, probably the same ones mentioned in other reviews, were working that night and definitely high AF. I smoke as well, but if it's affecting your work in such an obvious way and causing so many people to have a bad experience, it's a huge problem. This is a corporate chain, and people come here for fast, cost-effective, predictable food and service. A few employees are throwing it off and making it too time-consuming and disappointing to even come here. Apologies if this sounds extremely rude; I'm just trying to be honest and I wish the best for everyone who works here regardless of whatever goes on...
Read moreSad to say, this will be THE LAST TIME we spend our money here. We ordered enchiritos - the ONLY thing we purchase at Taco Bell. Taco Bell's description: "The Enchirito consists of a beef-, bean- and onion-loaded soft flour tortilla." Only problem: it is NOT loaded, it is SKINNY! The "base" charge for a "cheesy rollup" is $1.29. Then come the "add ons" of "red sauce" at $.20, "onions" at $.15, "3 cheese blend" at $1.30, and the "seasoned beef" for another $1.10 for a whopping total of $4.04 EACH. They used to be $2.99 just a few short years ago. We totally understand all the price increases ... the price of food up 20%, delivery problems, etc. but $4.04 is excessive given the filling is less than half what it used to be. We love enchiritos (at least what they USED to be) but not enough to shell out $4.04 EACH....
