Burrito Social — Restaurant in Guaynabo

Two day ago (Sep 2nd) at San Patricio during the evening,my second visit with my family after a first visit for a working lunch with peers a few months ago. This second visit was a huge disappointment, first the food quality changed from some what good to poor, the service behavior of the waitresses was focused in setting the customer to order stuff without knowing they will be bill extra for it, in addition the waitresses behavior was toward pushing customers to order quickly, eat quickly and leave the place as soon as possible. Also, the establishment set up their cashier machines tips to a 18% minimum without an option for 15%. I could deal with the food situation, but not the service one. It was very shameful when compared with my first experience. Also the parking staff situation is so far the worst. The first time the parking staff was harsh, but this second time were disrespectful. I expend around 2 hrs at the establishment and validated my parking ticket and then when I approached to the gate to exit I asked the parking staff to opened and I was told that I have to step out of the car and bring the ticket to them and my wife did me the favor, but the car door slammed because the car angle and the parking staff started making fun of her, then they where requesting $4.46 and we asked why because the ticket was validated and the parking staff told that we were over two hours and we have to pay to get out. My wife came back to the car and retrieved $5.00 to pay and the parking staff took the money and put it in his pocket and my wife stayed waiting for the change and the parking staff asked what she was waiting for and she replied she was waiting for the change, so the parking staff told her he tought she didn't want it, but took a few cents out of the register and gave it to her and press the button to raise the gate bar to allow us exit. If Burrito Social administration don't do the proper adjustments it will go downwards. I wish the best , but the true is the true and I can't remained silent because ita may be happening to many other customers. We went for lunch at the San Patricio location. Worst experience I had at a restaurant chain in Puerto Rico. Staff is indifferent to providing service, food is overpriced ($20 for a burrito) sorry but I could had gone to a real sit-down Mexican restaurant for that price, my order was completely wrong. Ordered a Manny Carnitas Burrito, nowhere in the menu does it says it comes with onions, that would not be enough for me to rate this restaurant this way, but I asked for green sauce never found it, extra cheese not there, inside was about 90% rice and beans with only two believe me I counted two pieces of carnita. Furthermore the rice was barely done. Burrito would had brought pork rinds never saw one. My wife order two tacos al pastor for $12. As said before very over price. I don't mind paying for food, do it almost every day, but when service is bad, food is over priced, and it doesn't come out the way you ordered but still have to pay for all the add-ons I draw the line. You are better of at Qdoba which is around the corner, or if you want to pay a good price for Mexican food at a sit-down restaurant go to La Revolución which is about four minutes out, or just cross the street and go to Cayó Caribe or Wilo. You will pay more but the quality, service , and portions served for what your paying are worth it. This is my first and last time. There not even worth a second chance, it was that bad. I will never recommend to friends or anyone for that matter. Hola 👋 from #sanjuanpuertorico @cassnead and I (@olliespears ) had an amazing lunch 🥙 today. The lunch made at @burritosocial was seasoned to perfection. Let me start off today with our drink 🍹 selection. @cassnead had a Coconut 🥥 frozen margarita and followed up with a Strawberry 🍓 frozen margaritas. I had a passion fruit frozen margaritas and followed up with a Blackberry mojito. All the drinks were on point and delicious. The chips and salsa was good. The house salsa had a little kick 🦵 to it’s flavor. 😂 caught me off guard 💂‍♀️. We ordered an appetizer, the chorizo with queso fundido. This dish came out piping hot from the oven. The cheese 🧀 was melting and the chorizo marinated into the cheese. Freaking yummmmy. For our main dish @cassnead and I shared the social bowl 🍚 with grilled chicken 🍗, grilled steak 🥩, cilantro 🌿 lime white rice, black beans, grilled fajitas veggies 🌶, pico de gallo, roasted corn 🌽, salsa verde cruda, salsa roja, Monterey Jack cheese 🧀 & sour cream. Can I tell you this dish was BombBomb 💣. The flavors married perfectly with one ☝🏼 another. The staff were great, our waitress @laguiapr gave us several recommendations. She wasn’t wrong at all.
