I want to say I've eaten here 4 times. Ordered through UBER all 4 the food got to our house super hot, except the last time. Their asopao de pollo excellent taste, portion as well we served 3 it was a great thickness of sauce, but the last time, which was our 4th time ordering it was very disappointing (warm, smaller portion, there was more meat than soup, and the thickness of the soup was watery and greasy. We ordered carne frita it was delicious the white rice was ok , but the beans weren't that tasty. Suggestion Con Recao, keep your recipe of asopao as it was thick and non greasy good portion, your biftec without crisping the sides, and more taste to your habichuelas. My family and I (6 of us) went to this restaurant on a Sunday afternoon at 3 PM. The first sign of trouble was when we had to waive to someone, anyone,to acknowledge us. I had to get up to ask for water (after asking for it 3 times), again to ask for a wine bottle opener, and again to ask for our appetizer. It took 2.5 hours to receive our food! Our original waitress never returned to our table after the appetizers, even after having to stand up to ask for the most basic needs. She just walked by us. We ordered from this place via Uber Eats, so we didn’t experience the restaurant in person. The appetizers were decent, though I found the bacalaitos quite chewy. On the other hand, the alcapurrias and fried cheese were excellent. Among the main dishes, I particularly enjoyed the mamposteado rice it was well prepared. However, I wasn’t impressed with the chicken breast or the mofongo.
