Jersey Mike's Subs — Restaurant in Guilford

Food was good but the person taking my order at the counter seemed immediately flustered. After looking around behind the counter for something for a good 2 min before even taking my order I gave him the (simple) order of 3 subs, 2 giant and 1 regular. He then repeated back to me and said regular for one of the giant ones and I said sure that’s fine (didn’t really need a giant one anyway). Fast forward to checking the receipt a day later to log in my bank register and saw he charged me for a giant which is a $10 difference! NOT a happy customer at this point. In this era we are living in to just eat out at a place that is already pricey is a struggle and a once in awhile treat for most people so to be overcharged by the amount of another whole (regular) sandwich is borderline robbery only because the order taker was clearly distracted and didn’t really care about making sure the order was right. My son loves Jersey Mikes subs so we went last night to get a sub for him. The two guys making sandwiches were swamped with pick up orders so we waited for our turn. While we wait, I notice the place is so dirty back counter, there was food thrown everywhere and used glove sitting on floor, one guy wiped the counter with filthy looking rag and didn't even change his gloves and contiue to make sandwiches...yuck! I think they were doing their best but the staff needs to be trained well how to avoid cross contamination and keep the place clean especially where you are serving food. Went in for dinner last night as I often do, and there was an older gentleman there, who I've never seen before. He was telling the normal staff how to do their job which they usually do well. He appeared to be slowing things down, asking the manager questions about how to prepare things and then seconds later telling employees that they were doing things wrong. Instead of being helpful he was doing things like sitting in the dining room and ripping those paper things they use to take your order.
