Chicken Salad Chick no matter the location does not disappoint!! After a trip to the zoo, the family wanted a quick lunch to take back to the condo. We had dinner plans later that night, so we wanted something light but good.
They did not disappoint. We chose a family pack, 3 tubs of chicken salad, and two large sides, with large and mini croissants.
Olivia's Old South is a classic with pickles and eggs, it does not disappoint. Cranberry Kelly is a winner with a fruity flare and gives you a little hint of sweetness with the cranberries and an almond crunch. The boys chose the Buffalo Barclay for a bit of spice.
Grape salad was a winner all around, especially with my great niece who loved the sweet coating on the grapes. Broccoli salad is my favorite with a vinegar base, cheese and bacon.
Croissants were fresh and flaky. Couldn't ask for better.
And of course to top it off were the Butter cream Frosted cookies. DELICIOUS!
So if you looking for a light refreshing meal in Gulf Shores/Foley area, stop by Chicken Salad Chick and give them a try. You won't be...
Read moreThe staff is very kind. The lady helped me with my ordering very patiently. She suggested the regular chicken salad sandwich first, and she was able to let me sampla the BBQ chicken salad, which was really good. I ordered the regular chicken salad on a croissant with lettuce , tomato, and Broccoli salad. I'm sorry to say the chicken salad had no taste to me. And it also was not enough for the bread ratio. 😕 And they did not give me my Broccoli salad but pasta salad instead which was very bitter and tart!
I called myself going back a second time and I got the BBQ chicken salad on a croissant with Lettuce and tomato. I also got a Spinach salad with Sesame seed dressing. And for dessert a rice crispy chocolate marshmellow treat. The sandwich was good but again not enough chicken vs bread. Spinach salad was decent. And the dessert had no taste of sweetness at all. Everything is OK not good enough for me to go back 😕 I'm Sorry...
Read moreI don’t know why my first visit to this amazing place took me so long but it won’t be long until my next visit. A lovely and friendly young lady, Sam, took my order. As it was my first time I had to search the menu board for what I wanted. Sam was very patient and helpful. I chose the Fruity Fran sandwich on a croissant that came with a crispy pickle spear and a drink. I love chicken salad with grapes, apples, and pecans and I was not disappointed. It was heaven on a fresh buttery croissant. Sam checked on me to see how I liked my sandwich and first visit. I can honestly say everything was perfect and I will go back for that delicious sandwich and...
