JOHN'S SEAFOOD — Restaurant in Gulfport

Well I went here because I really wanted some snowcrabs. When I walked in, I asked the cashier what special did they have on snow crabs. She told me that one cluster, I repeat one cluster cost $25.00. I said say what??? Then some guy comes from the back and said no you can get 1lb for $25.00. The cashier then went to the freezer to show me what 1lb looks like. Lol she pulled out one cluster and weighed it and said see... 1lb but it's big. It was still ONE CLUSTER. I was like soooooo like I said one cluster is $25.00? She said yes but it's big. I said yes but it's frozen and no thank you. Why would I pay $25.00 for a mediocre cluster.. oh and their crawfish is still over $5.00...

When they first opened up I wasn't impressed because when I ordered there shrimp platter they did have cajun butter sauce, all the had was melted butter, so I did not go back for while. However, I went back a week ago and notice they have cajun butter sauce now. So I decided to give them a another try,. Let's just say I am glad I did. My very first time eating here and I decided to take my food to-go. Arrived home to only find the shrimp of my meal was extremely overcooked. You couldn't peel the shell off without pulling chunks of meat. NOT edible at all. I called the restaurant, long story short, the lady rudely told me the condition or preparation of the shrimp I orded, was because of the type of shrimp.
