Susie Cue's — Restaurant in Gulfport

I don't even know where to start! The service is vary bad! It takes forever to get a drink in this place the waiters will just walk right by you and when you do finely get to order it will take 30 minutes to a hour to get one drink! The pool tables are always getting hung up! And if you don't tip you're waiter for the shity service they will get vary mad! I actually had a waiter get in my face after i closed out my tab and ask me why in the hell haven't i tipped her yet! I believe her name was (Michael) then when i bring the problem to the managers attention she sticks up for the waiter and wasn't even trying to hear my side of the story! either way it went she wasn't going to take any kind of Disciplinary action on the waiter at all! so it's useless to even try an talk to a manager. The food is good but it takes a hour sometimes even longer to get you're order. And not to mention all the things that go on in the parking lot Especially in the back! All the people smoking dope in there cars or the fights that go on back there. Then you got broken glass everywhere so getting a flat tire is pretty likely and all the under age drinking that goes on in this place is crazy i honestly don't see how ABC hasn't shut this place down yet! Well this is my review i know i personally won't ever go back in this place and it's vary sad because i remember back in the day when skeeters actually used to be a vary good place to go I've been a vary Loyal customer to them for a vary vary long time i don't know what happened to this place idk if they switched owner's or what but over the last few years this place has really took a Major turn down the wrong path maybe one day if they get brought out by new owners or if they do a big change by chance i may give them another shot but highly unlikely I've found a new home place to go called (bumpers) its in D'Iberville its very similar to skeeters its the same size with all the pool tables but its 10× better then skeeters the service is way better you actually get a drink fast the food is amazing it's way cleaner the waiter's are so polite and the Atmosphere is way better there's a much better class of people that go in there! Skeeters Aka Susie Q ( locations new name has been revamped to a country western saloon). I am guessing the revamp was due to the death that occurred outside in the parking lot as the unknown participants didn’t ever enter the facility . Per the report from the local news paper. I lived out of state for a number of years however when I returned this bar was always classified to carry a mix crowd, however after my most resent experience this place is going through a rephrase . They are pushing out the urban crowd , which is fine if they would speak openly and advise of such but just like a few other good ole boys spots on the coast. They wont speak up only hope that you get the hint if they make you feel unwelcome by changing up the dynamic’s. If you are seeking a mix blend with music to match this is Not The Place!!. The urban dollar is welcome with stipulations ex… you won’t here the music you may typically listen to. I’m saying all the above to say this stop putting your money in places that only see the value of your dollar but not the value in you as a human being. I will never attend this location again no matter how often they change their name. They also own Boogies where I witnessed a non urban culture person be hit in the eye with an 8 ball but hey it wasn’t a big deal because both parties...

Terrible service. Got weird vibes from the start. Ordered a Philly and fries for myself and wife ordered nachos. She asked for chicken and was told they’re out of chicken so then she asks for beef and told they’re also out of beef so she decided not to order anything. I asked for my Philly to go due to this, no big deal. “Waitress” comes out a few minutes later and just says “$26”. No actual bill, no receipt, no change etc. I asked why is it $26. (Philly & fries $15 and two cokes) Waitress seems irritated that I question it and tries to verbally explain that they’re going to charge me $2 for a couple of to go boxes with no actual bill/ticket to show. I then question why are there two boxes and she replies one for sandwich and one for fries. I ask why do you need to charge me $2 for two boxes for one meal with no answer. I’m irritated at this point and ask her to cancel the order. She has to yell over us multiple times for her “momma” who I assume is the owner to tell her we’re canceling our food order. Not once does she come over and try to correct anything. Never saw a single official bill for anything not even the drinks. Paid cash ($7.54) for two cokes and left. Bad business.
