Butts and Buns BBQ — Restaurant in Hackensack

Ribs were perfecly cooked! Really don't like fall off the bone ribs since it leaves little texture. Smoke and char were also excellent. Just fell a tiny bit short on seasoning. However, the fantastic sauce more than makes up for it. Pulled pork and beef brisket were extremely good together in a sandwich with the sauce and some provolone! The big star of this dinner was that I happened to see that they smoke their own salmon here. I LOVE smoked salmon and this was sooo moist and tender with excellent seasonings and smokiness. This is one of our favorite places to go in the Hackensack area. It is a shame we drove past it for years before giving it a go. All of the food is spot-on, delicious, the BBQ sauce is very good. Sides are all done well, too, which some BBQ places neglect. They are smoking the meat right outside the food truck and go grab you some when you order. Talk about fresh!

This is a little known barbecue truck that sits off of Hwy 371 in Hackensack. The gentlemen that runs it has a nice little clientele base and does a great job serving up some delicious food!
