I am so glad this place opened up this summer!! The new owners are a joy and have done a beautiful job with the place. The coffee, ice cream, and food are all great!!! They even have some to-go type foods in the back to purchase and bring with you to the beach, park, or on the boat! Love that! The seating in there is spacious and I love the spots by the window where I can plug in my laptop! I asked them if they had Wi-Fi and if it was okay to bring my laptop to work for a bit, to which they they excitedly said yes!! They showed me the spot by the window that they intended for just that! As we were traveling thru the area today we had decided to stop at a park in the quaint city of Hackensack. Being raised in central MN I was unaware of such a hidden gem right off the lake. The staff was amazing and were super helpful with any questions we had. They treated us as family and treated the kids as though they had been there a million times.
