Mr. Pollo BBQ Deli & Restaurant — Restaurant in Hackensack

Food was good but will never order from here again. Placed a lunch order and ordered the combo that states it comes with rice and one side. They only gave me my chosen side and my meat. When I called to have them correct it, they act as though they didn’t want to deliver the remainder of my order. 5 minutes later I get a call saying that the “driver left” and they disputed with me about why I didn’t select the item that the combo was ALREADY SUPPOSED TO COME WITH! I asked them so what are they telling me and she informed me they weren’t coming to deliver the remainder of my order because they didn’t want to go the distance. Didn’t even offer discount or solution to the error they caused!...

The food I got was very good. Well seasoned and I got a lot of food for the price. The only problem is that they are very slow completing their orders. I was told to pick up my food in 30 minutes. I arrived in 30 minutes as they said and they gave the order to the kitchen when I arrived after I asked for my food. I had to go to work. They told me that they were just very busy and had me wait there another 25 minutes. I couldn’t believe it took almost an hour to get my food and they did not seem to care much about the fact that I was waiting for that long. Also, the prices in the menu do not match. Each plate is $2 to $5...

Worst customer service I encountered at this place. My wife ordered food to pick up for a party, and they called back, arguing when do we come to pick up the food, disrespect to my wife over the phone, rude and disrespectful individual...still my wife confirmed the pickup. We got there, and the owner said he had throwaway the food. How can a "business" still be open acting this way and not honoring a customer order... The BBB of Hackensack should take this into consideration and take proper...
