We took the moonlight kayak experience and it was fun! Very good equipment, and they ensure that they give everyone a light (to track) and a whistle (in case of emergencies). Unfortunately, on the night we went out, there were many clouds and we just got a tiny glimpse of the moon. But the overall kayak experience through the marshes and under the bridges was amazing and is a total value for money! When they say only for experienced kayakers, believe them because they go at a very fast pace, especially towards the end. There is a small washroom near the river to use, but it is not very clean and also has no lights. We got drenched by the end of the tour, and regretted not taking a change of clothes! The actual launch point for the kayak is a 10-15 minute walk from the...

We took a moonlight tour yesterday out of Secaucus and had access to great equipment on a lovely night.

The event itself was a nice route through marshlands with a beautiful view of the city, but was not run well.

It was not clear on the tour who the leader was. There were no safety instructions about what to do if we got separated from the group, and the employees did not communicate well with one another. Thankfully we have experience kayaking, but unless you are confident on the water I would not recommend...

Two friends and I took the guided wildlife kayak tour yesterday. It was perfect weather but our guide could have been better. In 2 hours he not once even looked back to see how we were doing even though we had fallen behind him toward the end of our trip. We are senior citizens and he docked his kayak when we were still far out. We had to disembark without his help or guidance. We could have been in trouble and he never would have known. He didn’t care. We will not...

we had a great time with Captain Hugh traveling up to Bergen saw many many birds and learned so much about the history of The area and the flora we did see a lot of condos and apartments and it was cool to see the bridges and birds nests along the way I highly recommend taking a cruise on the pontoon boat.

Highly recommend the Hackensack Riverkeeper for nature tours in the Bergen County area. The pictures attached are from a walking tour at The Celery Farm in Allendale NJ. Great time, with great people.
