Chili's Grill & Bar — Restaurant in Hadley

I eat out once a week and have frequented chillies for the past month every Saturday night with my friends. We enjoy the food and the reasonable prices. However tonight August 12th was my worst experience eating out, not just at chillies. My worst dinning experience. Our waitress's name was Dana. We ordered our drinks and she asked us if we knew what we wanted to order and we said yes since we come every Saturday. We ordered the chips and salsa and upgraded to the table side guacamole like me always do, Dana roles her eyes and says you k ow that's the same as the house guacamole just $2 more. Yes it's the same but it's not as fresh and we like ours fresh. She may of just been stating the difference but she did so with attitude. We received our drinks and appetizers relatively quick. The food was good as always, but that isn't why I'm writing this review. The bartender was abnormally loud this evening, she was constantly laughing and yelling extremely loud. At first I thought it was another group of people only later to realize it was the bartender, acting childish and unprofessional. I bit my lip and ate my food. At the end of my meal when Dana brought us our check after listening to this bartender for over 45 min,Dana asked how everything was. I said ok but was a little disappointed in the bartender and how she was being unprofessional. She roled her eyes at me again and said oh she's just having fun. I then slightly irritated at this whole evening and my service, I said that if I wanted to listen to some one scream all night I would of stayed home and ate dinner with my little sister. She then gives me a fake appolagy trying not to laugh while she again rolls her eyes. Dana the goes the the kitchen and as I was getting ready to pay my bill I here her mocking me in the kitchen, followed by everyone in the kitchen. She returns with my box for my food looking at the ground as she walks over slamming the box down and running away with her head at the ground. I stated I wanted the manager. All the other employees ran into the kitchen including the bartender. The manager appears while everyone else is hiding in the kitchen. He wouldn't give me his name and repeated what Dana previously said about the bartender, they are just having fun. When in fact they were laughing at me. If your are in the Hadley area I suggest you go to a Burger King or Applebee’s instead. My Husband and I met some family for lunch. We sat at our table at 12:30 and the waitress took our order within ten minutes of us seating. We ordered an appetizer and our meals. As time is going by we are noticing how tables that came in long after us are getting their appetizers almost right away. Our appetizer finally showed up at 1:15 while the other tables were receiving their meals. 45 mins for an appetizer is absolutely insane to me when the restaurant wasn’t what I would describe as busy and I waitressed for 10 years. Our meals then came out at 1:25. Almost an hour after we had ordered. When we asked our waitress why it had taken an hour to get our meals she stated that the timer for our meals said 17 minutes and that it wasn’t an hour!!! I’m sorry but I can tell time. The chicken crispers were cold, the salad was soggy, the quesadillas cheese was hard. We all were disgusted with our food and barely ate any of it. The manager came to speak with us and in my opinion just gave us more excuses. “One of the Cooks stuck their hand in the fryer, so they were short back there.” So why didn’t our waitress mention that? Why weren’t we notified that our meals might take a few mins longer? We were sitting right across from the kitchen why didn’t we hear any yelling or commotion or anything? Why was everyone else around us getting their apps and meals before us when they sat down 20 mins to a half hour after us?! Came in, my menu was sticky and had some sort of food or sauce on the front which got on my hands, pretty gross. Waitress was rushing us as we literally sat was like, are you guys ready to order? Like literally as we sat down, menus not even opened yet nothing. Rushed us the entire time. Wasn't friendly, bordering on rude. Just seemed overwhelmed which was weird because it really was not busy. My daughter briefly tried to speak to her and she just ignored her which like i totally get kids arent for everyone but my 3 yr old was just being friendly. We got nachos which was like maybe 12 chips stacked with stuff?? Pricy for such a small amount of chips, I've never seen nachos done like that before, if Id realized I dont think we would've ordered them. Husband's steak was overcooked, like very overcooked. My food was decent. My daughter did eat her food so I assume it was alright. The manager was coming around but my husband is an assistant GM at another restaurant so he doesn't really like to complain and we werent interested in waiting for a whole other steak to be cooked correctly.
