Rocky's New York Pizza — Restaurant in Hagerstown

Usually I've had good luck with the pizza here . But the last two times were awful! This time, same woman with black hair, manning the pizza in the oven, left my pizza in too long, AGAIN! I was 40 minutes away by the time my friends and I went to sit down for dinner and the pizza looked good. As soon as you take a bite you realize it's burned on the bottom. That black haired girl who "Frank" has taking the pizza out of the oven sucks at her job! This is the second time she's burned my pizza! Then when you call to complain, the woman who I spoke with acted like I was crazy and how I didn't have the right "Rocky's New York Pizza!" I don't have a lot of time or money for buying a good pizza and going all the way back there to complain. We were so hungry, we just scrapped the top off and ate a few pieces. Who the hell has time to go back and forth to argue with the woman that took my phone call? Especially when you are hungry! I'm NOT coming back! I certainly don't recommend. And then...

Rockys pizza , South Potomac location. I went in there with the wife and we ordered 2 slices of pizza, I just wanted to see what they had to offer and taste the pizza I hear great things about Rockys and I wanted to see for myself. Rockys did not disappoint at all ! Perfect sauce, very thin, very well made. The best way to tell if a pizza place has decent pie is to simply order 1 slice to test which is what I had 1 slice alongside my wife. If the slice is soggy, stale or has a over cooked burnt taste then chance is that it sat out which is a sign they don't sell alot, if u see them making fresh pizza every 20 to to 60 minutes it's fresh n they sell out fast. I did not stay long but you can tell they make everything fresh . The staff is great, they show there appreciation and seem to enjoy serving the public. After living in Connecticut and traveling alot over a 30 yr span I can say, Rockys pizza is one of the best. I will be going back soon to try...

Good pizza but the owner or whoever was in charge yesterday evening (11-2-18) was very rude. We had ordered a medium half cheese half sausage and when we got it it was all sausage so I called and I asked for a refund because I am 5 months pregnant and did not feel like waiting another hour for what I ordered. The girl I spoke with was very nice and understanding and when she went to tell her boss that I would rather have a refund than another pizza he told her No! If she already got my food I’m not giving her a refund! (Obviously he didn’t know I could hear their conversation) we”ll remake the pizza and send it out to her! So I accepted since that was my only option. We are very disappointed at how rude he was talking to his employee about us which sucks since we just moved and our normal pizza place doesn’t deliver where we live now.
