La Olla Del Cafe — Restaurant in Haines City

I took my son to eat ice cream here but I had a emergency that i needed to use the restroom. I had to go i unfortunately couldn’t wait. I even said I’ll be back I could not hold it. Well when I got out I had told my kid what did he wanted but they didn’t have what they normally stocked for ice cream which was super man. So I had asked him if he wanted a drink instead and he said no. So I felt bad and I say ok we’ll go somewhere else I wasn’t trying to be rude. Normally I usually buy food here and ice cream. The time before I had spent more than $100 to feed my family. The food is not the best but it’s ok. But this time around was the first time I don’t buy and i didn’t have a appetite. I was only there for my son and they didn’t have what he wanted. They lady charged me for the restroom after I had used it and I really thought it was a sick joke because I have never been told that and there was no signs that I had seen that the restroom was supposed to be charged. So i walked out and the she followed me to my car yelling that she would call the cops. I had told her that this is the first time that they said that to me and it was a emergency. And she said that I left a mess. Which didn’t made sense because I cleaned up behind myself and wash my hands like any normal clean person would. She really treated me and my son like garbage. I really don’t recommend this place it had really went downhill. The owners the was there before knew what customer service was about. If you’re going to charge for the restroom than lock it with a key instead of taking people’s money and treating people like garbage with poor...

I went here for breakfast. We walked in and were not greeted. Ok, we sat on a table, and the young waitress with curly hair did not even acknowledge me, only my partner as she only told him the menú not even glanced at me, which I thought it was rude. I asked for the Ham sandwich with egg and she told me it does not come with egg so I looked at the menú and it list the ingredients and it said egg but I still told her I wanted my sandwich with egg. They gave my sandwich to another customer , and after 5+ minutes, she noticed it because the customer told her, so she took the sandwich from the other customer and gave it to me. I'm like, ok, I noticed the paper thin sandwich had no egg, so I addressed it. Another older lady came to me with a speech that the menú was wrong that the price on the wrong menú was cheaper that how is it possible for a ham and egg sandwich be 7 dollars that was wrong. I told her ma'am the price does not matter to me. I just asked for my sandwich with egg, but at this time, I was very upset, so I said just forget the egg. The ham on my sandwich was 1 slice paper thin. I paid $25.90 for a paper thin sandwich with no egg, 2 empanadas, a Colombian coffee, and a caramel frappe. Very good serve and food. I had the Tacos de carne asada with cilantro and cheese. The have ice cream as well. My service was very good. It's a small mom n pop place but was very pleased. If you are in the Davenport and Haines City area stop let me know how you liked it. By the way it's next to a supermarket actually I should say a Spanish supermarket where you can get all your Spanish food and the lights and desires at the same time. It is also close to a Little Caesars a gas station a discount general so it's in a good vicinity where you can find a lot of things and take care of a few things at the same time. The two ladies that were there when I went they were very friendly and their service was very good to me I didn't try the ice cream cuz I'm a diabetic but it sure did look good.
