LUKE'S LEGENDARY PIZZA, INC. — Restaurant in Haines City

DO NOT order from this place especially if you are visiting from out of town and depend on delivery services. First of all we ordered from this place because we thought they were family owned - but they do their delivery services through door dash (which they don’t advertise and you don’t learn this until check out) which bumped our order an additional almost $20. We didn’t get any of the protein (chicken) we paid for on the salads we ordered. We got mozzarella sticks and fried mushrooms… THEY WERE STILL FROZEN. The salad for the Caesar salad… wilted and pathetic! We literally couldn’t eat 90% of our order and had to order McDonald’s DoorDash. Called the restaurant and they said “well it was a large order and we were closing”. Excuse me? I work in restaurants in NY and that’s never an excuse! For one we had no idea you were closing so early and for two… deny the order! I could not imagine sending out such awful food on a $130+ order. And THEN the person I spoke to said these issues were above him especially bc then were now closed and that the owner would be calling me in ten minutes. Never called. That is literal robbery. Didn’t receive items paid for and more than half the items ordered could not even be consumed bc they were frozen ………. 100/10 recommend finding somewhere else to order. This place sucks. The only two items out of the entire order that were even edible were a cheesesteak and calzone and the calzone was burnt and tasted like their oven is never cleaned and the cheesesteak was missing the toppings THAT THEY ALSO CHARGE EXTRA FOR. It’s comical at this point that one piece could be so awful and not care so much that the owner doesn’t call you when they say they will. ORDER FROM MILLERS ALE HOUSE! WAYYYY BETTER if you’re from out of state and don’t mind depending on delivery...

Absolutely horrible. I wanted to try a different place in the area and got the worse experience of my life. I should have known when I went to pick the pizza up, the man at the counter was high out of his mind and couldn’t even count the cash I had given him. I ordered a veggie pizza which was my biggest mistake, it was uncooked, soggy and wish I wouldn’t have ate a slice. I was so hungry I unfortunately ate some of this and within a few hours I had a bad stomach ache, the stomach ache lasted into the next day which turned even worse. I began vomiting and horrible diarrhea non stop within 48 hours of eating this. My total in all was $57 and a disgusting waste of money and now my gut health. I’m beyond upset I attempted to give this place a try. I’m in complete disgust and still currently trying to stop myself from the vomit and food poisoning I got from this disgusting establishment called a pizza shop. Horrible I would give 0/5 and the health dept will be contacted immediately. Do better. In addition, I had an order of wings that were probably worse than the pizza, they were dry, cold, seemed to have been re fried after sitting for a while and DISGUSTINGLY not what I ordered. I ordered wings with sauce, just for them to come with barely anything on them. My kids had a pepperoni pizza which was not as horrible as the rest of the things but this has been a completely uncomfortable experience and I’ve never experienced food poisoning until this...

I went there earlier today around 430pm. It says to ring the bell if door is locked. I did. The man in there literally looked at me and walked away. I waited an additional 2 minutes and nothing. Terrible.

Owner wrote to tell me to remove my review. Why would I lie about the door being locked? I went to open the door and it didnt open. I rang the bell because there is a a sign that says to ring the bell if its closed which I did. Your team member looked at me and walked off. So even IF I didnt pull hard enough why would someone look at me directly and walk off instead of opening the door? You obviously have that ring bell sign for a reason which means you tend to lock the door even when youa are open. And this isnt the first time. I was getting my nails done a week ago and stopped by at 11, it was closed. Came back at 1130 or so and it was still closed however the owner saw me, opened the door and said he had a late start to his day. Which is why I let it go because things happen. However this was different. DOOR WAS LOCKED, I RANG THE BELL, WAITED FOR ATLEAST 2 MINUTES AFTER RINGING THE BELL (AFTER BEING LOOKED AT THROUGH THE GLASS BY A TEAM MEMBER) AND THEN LEFT AND WENT TO THE WING PLACE NEXT DOOR. The amount of people I refer here when everyone I know want to go to Manino's. Im not erasing my review because it is a true review. Speak to your damn employees or check ya cameras.
