At noon on Sunday. Walked in asked the hostess if me and my daughter could sit at the bar. (My daughter is 15 not 21 obviously) hostess says yes.
We make our way to the bar and sit. Wait 10 minutes for the bartender to come serve us.
When she arrives I ask about brunch. To which she responded oh we only have brunch Monday -Friday and points to the lunch menu. And clarifies brunch like lunch right. No. Not that same. Then she asked what we would like to drink. I order a Prosecco and my daughter a lemonade. She cards her, surprised both me and my daughter say itâs not an alcoholic drink.
She then tell us we have to move because she canât be at the bar. i said well we are already seated, i asked the hostess. She goes the manager who is standing to the side asked him comes back takes our menus and dismisses us from the bar. Saying that it is strict company policy that you canât have minor sitting at the bar. Itâs not a Florida statute just a âvery strict company policyâ. Which is fine. I get that, but this is why we specifically asked the hostess.
We then find our way back to the host to stand where they take us to be seated. 15 minutes goes by no server stops by, we have a whole order ready to go when she gets there. A Prosecco and water A strawberry lemonade The artichoke dip Two Mimi bowls.
Easy right. Nope. She left to go put our order in brings our drinks back and ask me if we needed anything else. I pointed out that she forgot the water. She comes back with the water. She then comes back 15 minutes later and ask us if weâre OK? At this point I nod and wonder why the appetizer hasnât come out.
She then comes back 10 minutes later with the two Mimi bowls. I asked her to take the app off our bill. The Mimi bowls are cold.
Over all not a great experience. The manger never stopped by never came and checked on us. We spent 1.5 hours there. Waiting and not getting very good service.
I know my $49 dollars isnât much and would have been more if we got what we ordered but I wish I would have spent it somewhere else.
Itâs to bad. If the first person had done their job once we walked in the whole situations would have started better. Then if the server had done her job it would have been a better experience. If the manager would have followed up, the whole thing could...
Read moreMy 4th visit, Tati greeted us very sweet and welcoming. 20 minute wait for dinner seating was reasonable. Raul was our server, great charismatic personality, very pleasant and knew how to make recommendations based on our questions! I ordered the Zinger Salad, Garlic Parmesan sauce with Balsamic dressing on the side. My husband ordered the Big Red Chicken Sandwich with the side of Fries. My husbandâs dish looked and smelled amazing! My salad, not so much, Raul made his way over to our table to ensure our dishes were good. He clearly saw the same as I did. The Zingers that were placed on my salad looked as though they were the chunks at the bottom of the container. Pieces of Zingers, not full strips of Zingers as they appear on the menu. Raul removed my plate and off he went. As I turned to my right, a very nice gentlemen, who I presume was the manager was asking if everything was okay. I explained Raul was taking care of it. He expressed, that I would be in very good hands. I wished I knew his name so that we could thank him as well. Raul returned within five minutes with a fresh salad and much better looking Zingers, and fresh hot fries for my husband. Very impressive to have taken care of this without batting an eye. Just as Raul left, another gentleman approached the table wearing a chefs jacket. Jaelen, who apologized for allowing the dish to leave expediting with the Zingers on the salad. I appreciate they recognize mistakes are made in the kitchen, in the rush that can get through in busy dinner services. However, correcting those mistakes as they did are what make the difference with patrons. Albeit, Iâm still not certain about the Zingers. I cannot honestly say that I am a fan of whatever I had on my salad because they were quite crunchy on the outside and still not as plump. Maybe another try without sauce. Apologies for the...
