Treat your customers with respect and don't give them any attitude or they will take their money and business elsewhere. I spent 22 years as a customer here and the last time was the last straw. We were ignored while trying to pay and leave. The attitude we were treated with for so many times over the years just really made us feel like we were not valued as a patron. I would have loved to find out the reason why she treated us like that, but I guess people just are judgmental about people without really knowing them at all. I spent enough money there over the years to buy a nice new car and boat. I'm sure she didn't miss us as she obviously never treated us like her other customers. Being ignored at the cash register while she went back and forth with other people who she was chatting with. Definitely intentional. I feel bad for her husband, he's such a genuine nice guy. The practice of the owner taking your order and not handing you a receipt for what you bought is downright illegal and deceptive. The charges for the same thing were never the same and nobody is allowed to see the bill. Just not good business. Also blatant preferential treatment to friends and customers she knows. Always a great experience when I go to this Mom and Pop diner. My grandson could eat everything on their plate. And the waitresses are so pleasant. ""The owner and his wife are the nicest people anybody could ever want to know.""" We went there last Saturday and it was really really busy, but we got a seat at the counter. They were very very busy. My grandson who is 9, quote on quote said to me,""" Grandmom, this is a 5-star rating in this Diner, they made my dippy perfect and bacon, sausage, and four pieces of toast perfect""". I couldn’t reach via phone to our regular breakfast place (Victoria Bagels), so a quick search on google found this new place. Got bunch of stuff and as my family gathered around the breakfast table. Heard so many WOWs for looks and for taste... best breakfast we had till date, non greasy omelettes, smiley pancakes, French toast, home fries, all are amazing.
