Great food at a good price.

The scrumptious Bar-B-Q will have you coming back again and again.

For me, a restaurant has to pass the "smell test" before I'll eat there. The tantalizing scent wafting from this Bodacious location will draw you in. At lunch, when I usually come here, there will probably be a short queue, but it's definitely worth the wait. You can peruse the menu board or enjoy the many artifacts lining the walls to pass the time before you order.

My favorites are the Sloppy Joe, the sliced beef, and the ribs. The Sloppy Joe is an excellent sandwich. Rich in flavor yet easy on the pocketbook. The scrumptious ribs are better here than at any other Bodacious location in the Longview area.

If a customer calls to let you know there is not one, not two, but three hairs in their food they just bought from you, try being a little more appreciative they called with the heads up. The call wasn’t to get free food. With the attitude experienced when advised and then being hung up on, gave the final reason why this review was submitted.

I ordered jalapeño, white cheddar sausage. When I started eating the pieces (thank God I always look at my food) I noticed a 3”-4” hair. So I threw that piece away and the piece next to it. Eat a couple of pieces (the sausage was amazing BTW) and find a second shorter hair. Again throw away and what it was touching. Now I’m looking, find a third piece. Throw it all away.

Greasy. Fatty. Little flavor. Did I mention greasy? Macaroni and cheese watery with a powdered cheese flavor and texture. Did I mention watery? Beans were thick with what I am assuming was cream cheese and bean water flavoring with added salsa. Brisket was bad. The sausage was worse. Sausage was soggy. The only thing that was surprisingly good... their BBQ sauce. How this place has had 4 and 5 stars in the past is beyond me. I’ve never wanted my money back before until now. How they are in business is beyond me. The food we were served to go looked nothing like the pictures online or on the screen inside the establishment. This was bad. Real bad.
