If I could put negative 100 stars I would. My conversation with the worker at this pizzeria was disgraceful and horrific. I was called “disgusting” for calling multiple times when one and a half hours had passed and I was told my pizza would come in 20 minutes. When I called a second time to check on my order and ask to be refunded if it wasnt coming as soon as the worker realized it was me he said “bye bye” and hungup while i was mid sentence. I asked to speak to a manager and he claimed the company had no manager because he did not want to get in trouble. I was charged for my entire order, did not recieve my food, and feel attacked by the horrific man that I hope to never encounter again in my life. I am disgraced that this is the kind of people toninos is willing to hire and i will NEVER order from this place again after losing a large amount of money and only gaining frustration and sadness from a man who disrespected me beyond words. PLEASE DO NOT SUPPORT...
Read moreYears ago when I worked at Quinnipiac Polling, Tonino's was my go-to for "dinner". The pizza was always good. As I'm no longer nearby, my visits are far and few between. Yesterday knowing I would be in the vicinity I looked forward to ordering a pie, only to be disappointed in not one but many aspects of my order. There was absolutely no crust. It looked like a cookie with sauce on top. The extra toppings were so scarce as to be almost non-existent as well as the sauce. The overall taste was so bland, I had to add some salt which as far as pizza goes, never, ever have I needed to add it to any pizza from my past. Needless to say I was extremely disappointed as pizza restaurants are a rarity where I now live. I was hoping for a knock out slice but instead got another failed attempt at serving good food. PS. The pie did not resemble the one on...
Read moreThe pizza is pretty good, and compared to the pizza places around their prices are good. The sauce is fantastic, great flavor and plenty of it on each slice! I also like their cheese and pepperoni. Only thing lacking is a good crisp on the crust. The crust itself is well made, but it's missing that char on the bottom. This pizza is actually even better the next day, as the sauce gets even better and I can reheat it on my cast iron to give the bottom of the crust a good crunch. If they could figure out how to fix that, I think this pizza would be perfect!
Delivery drivers and counter staff are super nice, and they have both phone and online ordering which is always a plus. And again, best prices around. (I think Whitney pizza might be cheaper or comparable, but it's garbage compared to Tonino's so not...
