So I decided to go here because the other location was burnt down .Breakfast & the Mexican food is great . As well as the nice family who owns the place. First off after reading some of the negative reviews and I totally understand how we all can be picky with our food!! Let me get into pros & cons!!!! Pros- the breakfast is really good . If something is over or under cooked I send it back or request it when I Order. The food here is fresh and clean and very tasty. The oil they use is good quality. Very homemade like . Which I love ! They’re Mexican food on point. The Mexican food here is fantastic. Hence the owners I think are Mexican. Their prices here are great. Their menu is extensive. Higher quality than the area. This isn’t five star top Chef dining experience but overall it’s fantastic for breakfast and fantastic for Mexican. Family owned & all homemade. Portions are just right .Cons - Angie’s in Bordentown needs to come back, fully restored and remodeled! Both locations are great. Also we hope that both establishments do very well. This place is worth it!! And so much classier and nicer than going into Trenton Nj for the love of “Spanish authentic “ foods. Loved my pupusas of , bean , chicken was great too and the salad and sauce it was fantastic! Oily but not to oily , not Soggy or dry. And love the homemade tortilla chips. Mexican food is my go to here #1 and the breakfast is good too way better than Dennys or IHOP chains . Keep up...

In the meantime Angie’s II in Yardville is open and I happened to need to make a catering order for Teachers Appreciation Month at my son’s daycare. Despite me calling only a couple hours ahead and having such a large order (three full trays of tacos, birria, chicken, and beef, tray each of rice and beans), they were able to accommodate the last minute order in a timely and delicious fashion, all at a reasonable price. It is recommended that you call at least a day in advance, especially for things like birria which take a long prep time but we were extremely grateful for the team’s excellent service at Angie’s. The food was...
Read moreWe were excited to try the new location after being longtime fans of the original restaurant, but unfortunately, our experience was very disappointing. We paid $4 for a tamale that turned out to be moldy—clearly visible dark green and black spots on the corn husk. As someone who works in the restaurant industry, I recognize the signs of poor food storage and sanitation, and this was unacceptable.
It’s frustrating because we used to love the food from the old place, but this new location doesn’t meet the same standards. Food safety should be a top priority, especially when serving something as simple as a tamale. After this experience, we’re hesitant to return, and I hope the owners take this as a wake-up call to tighten up...
