Scotto & Crimani — Restaurant in Hamilton Township

I've had a few of their dishes. Portion sizes are large. I can't believe I hadn't reviewed them by now but...

The white wine garlic mussels are INSANELY good. Seriously, best white mussels app I have ever had. Cheesesteaks are always excellent. Pizza is fine, had some bangers and some less so, but I admit I make my own creations and some of that is on me, lol. Ask for the pizza well done/crispy.

That being said, last night I had their fettuccine Alfredo with sausage added, a chicken Parm platter, and stuffed shells that we picked up. The whole household was RAVING about all three but especially the Alfredo. The chicken soup is awesome and while I didn't try it apparently the pasta fagioli gets very high marks.

Always very friendly staff, makes you feel like a friend or long lost relation.

Super reasonable pricing, quick delivery and pickup service. Sit down service was great as well when we went in for a late lunch/early dinner.

P.S., tell whoever made the Alfredo I will marry them. My partner probably wouldn't mind, from the way he cleared his plate. I hope it's the same person who made my mussels before, but if not I guess I have a difficult...

The Pizza Tour continues! Our next stop was Scotto & Crimani in Hamilton, NJ. Classic pizza parlor vibe!

We got one of our standard orders...3 plain slices. EXCELLENT thin crust pizza. Our pizza had a very tasty, very thin crust. Crisp on the bottom yet it had a nice chew to it. High quality cheese and very good nicely spiced tomato sauce. The pizza was perfectly balanced in taste and texture. We're definitely going back again when we're in the area.

Update to my update - EXCELLENT burgers as well. I had a cheeseburger there today 6/29/24. Great quality patty cooked medium well, perfectly charred and juicy, with a fresh slightly toasted Kaiser roll. Roll was toasted crisp on the outside, soft and fresh on the inside. Will definitely be getting more burgers there!

This used to be my favorite pizza place. Unfortunately when I went for pizza tonight I was treated horribly and had to wait much longer than I should have. I walked in and ordered a medium pizza, that's it. I was told the wait was 15-20 minutes. I actually waited an hour! I've never, even on a busy Friday night, been forced to wait that long while standing there waiting. I could have had a pizza delivered faster than that. I felt like they were ignoring my order until they felt like making it. I repeatedly asked what the problem was. I was repeatedly told "a few more minutes". After 45 minutes I was told "I was next". The lady at the register was nasty when I asked and told me "it's busy". Still no reason to make me wait so long while they made the orders...
