Pave Goldsmith — Local services in Hamilton Township

On August 22, 2024 my girl friend and I went to Pave’ Goldsmith & Diamonds to have some jewelry repaired. I left five pieces of jewelry to be repaired, one bracelet and 4 rings. One of the rings was an Opal in a heavy gold band.

The jewelry store owner prepared a receipt and I neglected to review the receipt when it was handed to me at the store.

When I went back to the jewelry store to retrieve the repaired items the jewelry store owner did not return the Opal ring in a heavy gold band. When I asked for the Opal ring in a heavy gold band he said “what Opal” and showed me a copy of the receipt with only four items listed on it and the receipt lacked a listing for the Opal ring. The jewelry store owner further stated that “I don’t remember an Opal ring”. A female clerk in the store said “we are going to look all over for your Opal”.

When I asked jewelry store owner what are you going to do if you can’t find my Opal he said “nothing”, he was also very arrogant and did not express any concern for the loss of my Opal ring.

Since then I’ve called multiple times and each time they stated they could not find my Opal ring.

My girl friend was with me when I left the five items for repair and I wish I had not neglected to carefully review the receipt before I left the store.

I’m not sure why the jewelry store owner did not list the Opal ring on my receipt and I’m not sure what his motivation was to not list the Opal ring on the receipt but I’m sure his motivation was not in my best interest for him to not list it on the receipt. To date I still have not been able to retrieve my Opal ring from Pave’ Goldsmith & Diamonds.

I just want people to be aware of what happened to me and if they do go there for service to be sure to carefully review their receipt before...

I am deeply disappointed with my recent experience at Pave today. In December of 2022 I entrusted Mike with resetting a cherished ring, expecting professional service and expertise and he delivered. The new version of the ring is beautiful. However, when I returned today to have it polished, the clerk dismissed it outright, claiming that every element of the ring was costume jewelry.

This was not the case. The ring was not fake, and their assertion felt dismissive and unprofessional. Whether it was a misunderstanding or a lack of proper assessment, I would have expected a more thoughtful and knowledgeable approach from a reputable jeweler.

I had previously trusted this store with my jewelry, but after this experience, I question their integrity and expertise. I sincerely hope they improve their customer service and attention to detail so that others do not face the same...

Well after my family has spent a large sum of money in this place I will no longer purchase anything from this jewelry store or jeweler. I purchased diamond earrings for my fiancé she is allergic to gold I had asked for silver backings I received 14 karat gold I would thought I was purchasing 0.6 worth of diamond earrings I received 0.32 he told me I was purchasing an H Color diamond two different Jewelers told me I purchased J & K color diamonds I am so irate right now that I am fighting the foul mouth and then nasty words this man has not only lied cheat and stole from me but he physically did it to somebody that valued his opinion and it has been shopping from him for over 10 years and even though I'm out of state I still spent the time and money with him at a long distance no more I will never deal with this man again he is a...
