Wondering if this store is down in sales. If not, it's purely regarding it's convenience in relation to the Walmart located only hundreds of feet away. The staff here are simply rude, ridiculous, unprofessional and lack simple customer service ability. My experience: Wanted to try the Impossible Whopper and downloaded the Burger King app after succumbing to very clever marketing. There was a coupon in the app, so I used it. I ordered one item, the impossible Whopper, and did not mention the coupon during the order. When I approached the window, I presented the coupon, which needed a managers approval and the manager, scathingly repeated "she didn't tell you she had a coupon??!" Louder for about 3 times while shooting me the most horrible looks. Slams the drive-thru window. I hand over the money for my order and the manager makes sure to place the change in my hand slightly rough and shoots me another look before slamming that window again. Worker handed me the Whopper and chuckled at the managers behavior the entire time. Sucks because the Whopper was tasty but Jesus... definitely don't recommend this location in the least. I know good human capital is hard to find when the requirements are so low but...seriously...who does the...
Read moreAnother experience to share. Stopped at Burger King in front of Nottingham Walmart. I went in to get a drink. Went to counter and no one was there. I heard talking and laughing from the back, but no one to take my order. The guy at the drive thru window came out and saw me 3 times, but no nod or recognition I was there. I tried my Mrs. Doubtfire " HELLOOO" but nothing. Finally, a woman came out holding a few sleeves of fry cups. Never makes eye contact with me. Sorts her cuos and arranges things and finally turns around and says "Can I help you?" No smile. No hello. Just as flat as can be. As she rang me up she asked if it was cash or charge. I know almost all restaurants charge extra to use your credit card now but hadn't heard fast food was doing it too. I Googled it and NO Burger King does not charge to use a card BUT as they are independently owned they can make their own rules. This owner is going for the extra money. I used to always pay in cash. Then Covid started only using credit card. Guess it's back to cash. Moral of story carry cash and check before you pay with cc if they charge to use it. Also, if you like non friendly, slow service this is the...
Read moreThis BK is close to me and I use to go everyday for breakfast. Notice they are not consistent in how they treat other customers even though the community is nonwhite. I requested any of the breakfast burritos and was told "No". Yet its on your menu. "We don't have those". Okay. I came back Sunday and was able to order 2 of the smaller breakfast burritos here. I don't know why during the week it was a problem.
Also they extend themselves more to "certain" customers after they order. "Would you like sauce"? Not all customers get asked this. I am one of them. When I ask for sauce they provide it but it seems like a hassle. I don't know why they don't have packages of ketchup or what-not sitting on the counter if its a pain for them to retrieve it.
And if they cannot serve certain items they show listed on the menu, then update the software for your display menu. Or have a hand-made paper sign taped underneath saying "we no longer serve...". Just to let the customers be aware.
There are better BK's: one on Broad St. The other on Sloan Avenue. The extra mileage...
