The worst Panda Express experience I’ve ever been through. Walked in about 5:40pm May 8, 2022 and about half the menu was prepared and nothing else. I asked if they could make Sweet Fire chicken and fresh veggies and the employee just shook her head “no”. A few more families walked in after us and asked for brown rice and again, the employee just shook her head no. Couldn’t use basic customer service and respond with words or give a simple explanation. Everyone was confused as to why there was hardly any food and WHY they wouldn’t make more food…. At this point there are about 20 people waiting to be served in the lobby. NO ONE was cooking and every single employee (about 8 of them) were just staring at all of us customers, slopping old lukewarm food into a container. I ordered food I didn’t even want because I was hungry and was there with the rest of my family. I was charged full price for a plate even though I didn’t get a side because there were no veggies. And at one point an irate customer came in upset about his food and spoke to what seemed to be a lost and confused employee about his issues. Just watching the employees not do a single thing to help their situation was jaw dropping. Either management is severely lacking in this establishment or we’re all just screwed. We overheard a few of the employees say the cook just left. Will literally never come here again and I hope at the very least the employees learn basic initiative in the workforce. That alone would have helped them tremendously. It was like watching a bunch of 15 year olds not know what to do. Even if you can’t cook, speaking to the patrons about why there’s little food and acknowledging concerns is a step in the...
Read moreAlthough a chain of restaurants Panda Express is quite special. "Family owned and family grown" with a focus on Community.
This location recently opened in a Wal-Mart anchored strip center. The strip center has endure some tough times over the years but has come back strongly. Recently opened stores, new aesthetics and a location near a internationally recognize sculpture garden make this area a place to visit and a model for others.
The landscape and building are very welcoming. Plenty of surface parking with an easy entrance and exit. Drive through service is available however on our first trip we ate in.
Large "great room" feel in the open dining area. Large TV's for you watch while eating. This gives the impression that you should stay awhile. The seating is quite comfortable as well.
The food is prepared in an open kitchen. The prepared dishes are on display in a cafeteria style. You can pick from multiple plate sizes featuring a choice of main dishes with sides.
The food was very good and nothing like most of the other local family owned Asian inspired restaurants.
The pricing is fair as well. If Panda Exress can maintain this level of service and quality of product they will be busy beyond belief and will need to open...
Read moreThis Panda Express is a great new addition to the community. The restaurant is beautiful with lovely chandeliers. The servers are patient and encourage trying samples of the food. And my! The food is delicious and unique. This area is known for small Chinese restaurants so I was curious as to how the food would compare. I was pleased to find that Panda Express food tastes different and is absolutely worth trying. Their limited promotion of 8 treasure chicken was a hit with me. Their meats have a unique smoky flavor to them and this entree had the right amount of spice. Since the food is served catering style, it only takes a few minutes to choose what you want and pay for your meal. Perfect for people on the go! No waiting for the food to be cooked. If you are in a hurry, I highly recommend this place. Bathrooms do not have stalls, one person at a time. Oh! And check your receipt. If you complete an online feedback survey you can get a code for a free entree! Needless to say, I will definitely be eating here again during my walmart...
