Tropical Smoothie Cafe — Restaurant in Hamilton Township

I usually like tropical smoothie café but I was disappointed in the attitude and behavior of the staff today. My spouse saw the person who took money from us go and start making the smoothie without putting on gloves or washing her hands. This is food handlers 101: you don’t handle money then food without hand washing. My spouse kindly directed them to please put on gloves before touching food. She was given dirty looks and another staff who sneered and left. They did wash their hands and made a new drink but the attitude remained. My spouse asked if they were wrong in making the request. I’m sorry but a customer making a reasonable request should not be given attitude. We just got through a pandemic have we not learned anything about hygiene not to mention refraining from nonverbal body language, comments or facial expressions that make customers...

I have gone to this location since it opened. I recently starting getting it delivered to my work and I found a long dark hair in my wrap. I contacted the store right away and they told me the manager would call me the next day to discuss everything and my refund. I heard nothing. I stopped in twice to speak with the manager within the next week just to be told they manager isn’t there and they will call me the next day. The staff seemed to laugh it off. One even giggling to someone else saying “this is all you”. That was TWO WEEKS AGO. This is unacceptable.

I love to eat fresh and healthy but as in process to avoid junk food i started to visit tropical smoothie and try different items and recently they had some offer like free smoothie with a salad bowl and i ordered watermelon smoothie and what i got was probably a ice blended with 1-2 slice of watermelon i an attaching pictures. It was a very warm summer day and i really wanted to cool my self down with watermelon smoothie. I am attaching pictures and videos for references . The quality is quite up and down.
