I had a very disappointing experience which really sucks considering itâs not my first time there and have sent my mom, sister boyfriend and friends to this salon. I spent nearly 3 hours yesterday remaining patient and kind throughout the entire process, but ultimately left frustrated. I specifically asked for a color with chrome and opted for UV hard gel. However, things quickly went awry. Over the course of the appointment, three different people worked on my nails, and my nails were drilled about three times, leaving me wondering if there was any product left after all the drilling. When I noticed the technicians were getting frustrated with the process, I offered to change the color to something simpler, realizing the chrome effect wasnât achievable. At that point, a manager (I believe) stepped in to try to do the chrome, but then told me they just wanted to go with a solid color instead of continuing to try the chrome. By that time, I was so frustrated and just wanted to go home, so I agreed to pick a clear color. The most upsetting part was being charged full price for work that didnât meet my expectations, considering the inconvenience, the constant changes in technicians, and the fact that the initial request wasnât fulfilled. I left with a bad experience and poor results, which is not what you expect when paying...
Read moreThis was my first time at Beauty Nails Spa, but it won't be my last. The spa was meticulously clean and everything was soothing and bright. It's located in a strip mall, and the spa inside is much nicer than the strip mall itself.
I showed Sam what I wanted - a picture of the ombre french nails and he 100% delivered. He answered all of my questions about the process of the hard gel / builder gel manicure and shaped my nails perfectly! His technique is phenomenal and the ombre effect was exactly what I was looking for. Not everyone can pull that off! At the last minute I asked for a coat of sparkle and he dug through the example cards to help me pick out just the right one. The finishing neck massage was a nice touch as well.
My manicure looked so good that I decided to get a matching gel polish pedicure, but with no ombre. Vicky took over from there and was just as thorough as Sam. I chose the callus treatment and the basic pedicure. My feet are as smooth as glass. She really put her back into it, lol! She painted my toes perfectly and was so gentle that I nearly fell asleep in the massage chair.
I look forward to getting my gel refills and pedicures here...
Read moreThis was probably one of the worst pedicures I've ever gotten. Knowing what should be done for a pedicure (I'm a licensed cosmetologist certified in hair, skin, and nails) it was questionable if she was even licensed to be honest. The entire process was painful, she didn't use anything other than water to address my cuticles, over filed my toenails, and didn't even get the sides of nails while cutting them but was sure to file the top of them to the point that one side was thicker than the other on the top portion of my big toenail. When I asked her to fix it she had no idea what I was talking about and the owner/manager had to come help her. Almost painted my toes pink when I asked for blue, went to the bathroom in the middle of doing my toes after having a disagreement with another client that was clearly just as unhappy as I was. On top of all of that they charged an extra FIFTEEN DOLLARS for gel polish unlike the going rate of an extra 5 so my 35 dollar pedicure turned into 50 dollars plus tip. I will NEVER go back here again. EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED in the customer service, the actual pedicure, and the cost was NOT worth it...
