All I know is what I know, with that being said everyone who is getting frustrated cause their frappe machine is (down) speedway next door has a frappe machine and it's just as good and cost less than half the price. Their machine isn't down though, I know for a fact that if it's busy and they don't feel like it since it takes their speed of service down they will just say that to avoid it. Same with the ice cream machine it's a literal Meme that mcdonalds ice cream machine is always down but tell me why burger king around the corner has the same machine, literally same model same everything, but theirs is hardly ever (down). Speed over the customers. Cause the big wigs don't like when the speed of service is below a certain average. I will say as far as kitchen and back cash go, they do a good job, with that said they are rushed as well so yeah orders will get messed up here and there but not nearly as terrible as high street in that regard. This is the reason after having worked FAST food, I know from experience they focus on the FAST part, not because the employees per se but management as far up as it goes as well as the store managers. They even compete to stay at the top of the list and will constantly pull people over small things (that said I've been pulled because of a frappe before) and yes a couple ive worked at actually have screens that show what "place" your store is in as far as speed goes.. Their focus should be on quality and customers but I mean that is why they call it FAST Food i guess.. I'd like if they'd stop saying their machine is down when I know it's not (not just saying that, me or a certain someone I may know might work here). When I get my mother breakfast in the morning I've been trying to use my points for a free frappe but 2 weeks and it's been 4 different excuses. Kitchen doing the work, up front needs some work big time. Certain shifts the drive through "people" wont even really look at you just hand the bag out and not say anything as if they arent being paid and their job title specifically has Customer Service in it. The ones running the first window, i have nothing bad to say, ive even talked to them and theyre always very kind. 2 stars specifically because the kitchen crew and back cash, no more no less. If front end has some massive improvements then I'd have no issues giving 5 stars, as far as mcdonalds go of course. Also I'd just like to add after reading other reviews, there's no way egg shells are in the eggs because they use egg that comes in a boxed half gallon and you just pour it into the molds and put it in the oven as long as they still do it that way. And yeah food is made sloppy sometimes, remember though it's SPEED...
Read moreMe and my wife want you to McDonald's around the corner from where I live at on the west side of Hamilton and it was the most horrible experience I've ever had in my whole entire life well when me and my wife approached through the drive-thru we decided we wanted to fish sandwiches one with cheese one without freshly cooked fries six piece freshly cooked nuggets and two freshly apple pies the lady decide to check to see if they had Apple Fried Pies because it was around 10:15 at night p.m. she came back and told us that they did have them we get around we paid for it they tell us to pull up cuz our stuff was freshly cooked and then as they gave us our order I decide to check it when they left found out that the two apple pies was not in there which we were really craving for some apple pie cuz I haven't had any apple pies till I'm going to have some and Thanksgiving but anyway when we backed up through the drive-thru because it was like 10 at night no one else was there with us we explained to the people that they never gave us a apple pies they asked for us receipt we did not have the receipt because the lady at the where we paid at she asked us do we want to receive we told her no we didn't need the receipt it's our neighborhood McDonald's anyway they never gave us our apple pies they made us feel like we were criminals or something like that I don't know it's because we were black people the way they treated us it really made me feel unwanted at that McDonald's me and my wife are probably never go to that McDonald's ever again we are seniors we are 63 years of age me and my wife coming to have a late night snack at our local McDonald's and was treated like we were worth nothing that was so horrible I hope someone read this and if not I am going to that McDonald's and talk to a manager Lord give me strength on customer service it sucks every since the pandemic it sucks nobody...
Read moreOrdered a ranch grilled snack wrap from Mcdonalds. Got home an this is what I got. A burnt piece of dried up chicken in a tortilla no lettuce, no cheese, no Ranch. Ordered 2 plain McDouble cheeseburgers for Duke. One was plain the other had pickles onions and ketchup. What topped it off was before I pulled away I looked in the bag and there was no Snack Wrap. So I drove back around to the drive thru she had it waiting on me in another bag. Frustrated I just shoved it down in the other bag. Well it gets even better. After getting in the house with a few grocery bags I had from the dollar store. And finally catching my breath. And then finding this mess they call food. I Salvage what I could to feed Duke. Of course he already seen the McDonald's bag. Anyway I called McDonald's and it was busy. I called 39 times and still busy. I thought oh hell no! And yes I did... loaded up my oxygen tank and got back in the truck with what I had left and went right on back. Walked-in slammed oxygen tank on the counter and demanded to talk to the manager. To make a long story short LOL it was not pretty.😠 I'll be going to a different McDonald's from now on. PS would you believe I just now called again and it still busy and I started calling at 5:20 and it is now 7:30 pm The manager didn't seem to care I was elderly and disabled she let me stand there forever. finally I had to sit down.
