Wings on Brookwood — Restaurant in Hamilton

STAY FAR AWAY FROM HERE!

My first experience with this company was very average. The girl on the phone was acting as if she was too busy or did not care to explain the proceedures of this business to me. I was not sure how to order wings, quantities, the sauces they offered, or that eventually I found out, this place makes their own sauce. I was respectful and polite, asked her to describe to me how to make the proper order. She told me that for every 5 wings I order I could get a new sauce. So I tipped her for her efforts, even though the bag was double knotted shut and the order was never presented to me in a proper way. I had to just have "faith" that my order was right and went along with my day. The order was right and it was ok but the wings were small.

It took me some convincing but finally I got my office to place a second order. This time I told the woman on the phone, I would like 15 wings with sauce on the side. Hot and Barbecue. Once again on my arrival the bag was sealed shut so no chance to make sure my order was right. So I shrugged it off and paid and headed out, having "faith" they had done things right. When I got to my car I looked at the receipt, they had charged me 1.79 for additional sauce. wait a minute, I thought, I only had ordered 2 sauces, last week she told me I was entitled to 3 sauces! When I went back inside to inquire about the unjust charge I received, I spoke with the woman who took my order, she said she didn't know why I was being charged that, just because of the computer. Well I was not satisfied and began to explain the order was 3 orders of 5 and she should not have charged me for the additional sauce.

She suggested I talk to the manager. She sent the kitchen manager out to speak to me. Rather than find the problem, develop a solution, then speak to me, the manager came to me and asked me the problem. Not my job to explain to you twice how to serve a customer correctly. But any how I told him the situation. He told me I was charged for an additional sauce because they decided for me to provide a medium cup of sauce instead of 3 smalls. So his solution was that I ordered wrong, he had no intentions of correcting their error and walked away from me.

With that being said, I felt as if there was no way I was ever going to return to this restaurant.

As far as I was concerned this was just petty. I had planned on coming back to the office to tell them what a great experience I had at wings on Brook wood but couldn't because of petty 1.79 charge. So I felt as though I would call them and give them one more chance.

THEY LEFT ME ON HOLD FOR 10 MINUTES!!!

So I called back from my office line....ah ok now the real manager has time to speak to me. The owners daughter. She was receptive at first, but just as her employees had indicated to me she was not interested in winning my business this day. I asked her about showing food to the customers before they left with their order. Her reply "We aren't going to change a policy just for one customer" Ok well then you have lost my business, as well as custmers like me who expect their food to be shown to them before exiting the restaurnt. Her suggestion to me is that

I UNTIE THE BAG (DOUBLE KNOTTED)

no. that is unacceptable to me. I do not plan to do your job for you. Where will it end? Should they expect me to cook them too? ok forget it. Have a nice day. I do not want to do business with a low class place like Wings On Broadway.

and as an added feature, this is how arrogant they are in this store, she said "we put buffalo wild wings out of business"

I DON'T THINK SO, GETTING THEM TO MOVE TO BRIDGEWATER FALLS ISN'T "PUTTING THEM OUT OF BUSINESS"

I had high hopes for this place but it was a huge let down for more then one reason! Let's start with the fact that we sat where you could see into the kitchen and literally watched the fry cook make curly fries and then ate out of them and sat them up to be served!!!!! Literally eating out of people's food and serving it!! Then my wings were so burnt there was no meat left just burnt crust! Not edible. If that wasn't enough the fact there were people there who apparently knew someone who worked there named "Daniel" and they let their small child run and scream unattended bothering people while they ate and no one said anything to this child, not even when it was running into the kitchen where they were cooking! Now I'm sorry but children do not belong in kitchens of restaurants! The grown adults with the child just kept saying "is ok Daniel is back there" well no the health dept wouldn't feel the same! Whoever this Daniel person is he might want to mention to his guests next time that other paying customers are there and they deserve to eat in peace and that maybe they should keep towing childrenout of the kitchen. It's unsanitary and unsafe! It was a horrible experience and we WILL NEVER be back! I should have recorded the cook eating out of people's food! We walked out mad that we wasted our time and money with that place....

What a great place to eat! I don't even know where to begin!!

Let's start with atmosphere smaller dining area then other restaurants (big plus in my book I don't like over sized dinning experience where I can't even hear the wait staff) but very lively great energy from staff and other patrons! Inside felt welcoming and clean.

Food was amazing hands down you will not find the quality or quantity of the dishes anywhere else in town or even a big chain wing place. Our order was a 15 x boneless wing, side of fries (by side I mean enough for the whole table 👍🏻), a bubba burger, sweet BBQ burger, and kids chicken nuggets and fries oh and an appetizer of plumber pretzels. And when I say not a single bite at my table wasn't followed by a yum or a omg this is good I mean it. The burgers were very good sized for the price and you can tell they were not some frozen patty ordered in and shoved in a freezer but instead hand made patties very big plus in my book. The wings were also great plenty of sauce nice and tender chicken.

And most of all the service by far exceed any expectations we had Daniel was very thoughtful on his timing with coming to the table and always one step ahead of any requests we had.

We will definitely be back many...
