First time I went to this coffee shop. The lady I spoke to made drink with love and spoke with me for up to an hour! She charged me the "special" price for my beverage and it was lovely. However, I went today and I informed the lady that I was charged a specific price for the same beverage I wanted. Which was only $.94 more. I have absolutely no issue with paying an extra dollar. What I have an issue with is the fact that she looked at me up and down as I studied the menu, just for a glance and I guess in her opinion, kindly dismissed me. But overall, I gave a four star review ( I really wanted to make it three stars) because as a small shop within a small town, you should make connections with all of your consumers. I really feel like my review will be looked over. However let me please inform you that I have a bachelor's in business from Wingate University and currently working on my MBA. I have also had customer service experience for +10 years. As well as creating my own business venture(s). So I know what I'm speaking on when I speak about EXCELLENCE CUSTOMER SERVICE.
HOWEVER, I will definitely come back for my Dirty Chai Latte when "nicer" staff is available.
Please don't take the review personal. Professional criticism makes us better as...
Read moreWhat a disappointment! I wanted to try this place for a while, wish I hadn't. I could never get a clear understanding as to what all they actually served because their website and other place show different things, or maybe some are just seasonal, never got a clear understanding, but don't need one now. Had to actually go there and get a menu to order. I really wanted a salad and the best sounding one was the sesame chicken salad. Well it had NO CHICKEN and was the SMALLEST SALAD I've ever paid $13 for! It was like a small side salad. Huge ripoff. We also got the Disco chicken and Cubano sandwiches. WHAT, they are seriously the size of a hotdog! No joke, the bun is like a hogie roll but it's the size of a little hotdog bun. Smallest one I've ever seen. The flavors were good, but not much on there, but don't know how much could really go on the miniature bun. They also came with plain potato chips? For $11 a miniature sandwich and some plain chips? I know prices have gone up everywhere on everything, but this was ridiculous. If you like over paying for not much, then this...
Read moreThis place looks so awesome inside; it's so cute and has that 'little hometown' feel. The lady who was working the day my friend and I went was super nice. It was only like her 2nd day there and she was great! The food was decent. The only reason I say that is because I've had the Cubano from there before, which I loved, so comparing the sandwich I had this time it wasn't as good as that one, lol. I still ate the whole thing! I can't remember what I had this time, but it had chicken and a sauce on it or something. Anyways, my friend got the one with the 'sample' type sandwiches. We also had Boba tea... which I had never had before and it was great! Weird, but great! My friend talked me into it and I'll be getting it again. I can't wait to go throw axes here! And yes, they do serve alcohol- or will be serving it. I saw a list if items on their sign - see pic. They also have so many cute things to buy for yourself or for presents for others....
